Golden Horn Fine Steaks and Seafood

This is the best restaurant in the GTA! Best steak in town. Highly recommend. Fine dining, not a fast food joint. Great service and the food is worth the wait.

First Time Here! Seated Quickly a family of 7. We had Catfish, Pasta and hamburger steak. All were great choices. We will return.

Been here a couple times place was not full got there by 5:35 ordered about 6 a place was not busy on a Thursday evening we finally got our food and left at 7:30 ! It takes way too long for food to come out ! The food is pretty good over all we like the blackened grouper but to wait an hr on food when not busy is crazy if place was packed I’d understand but was not !! We’ve been there probably three times in last yr an it’s same every time ! So if ya like decent food a don’t mind the wait try it out ! But have patience 😁

As we sit here it has been over an hour and the food is still not at the table. I did inquire with the waitress as to when we should expect to receive our steaks. Apparently and according to the attitude delivered with her reply, it is our fault they cannot serve a two top on a timely manner. I feel bad for asking after being snapped at. I suppose she will still want to get paid and surely she expects a tip.

The food was very awful. Tasted plain. Bread roll was hard and butter weren't good with it . If you want a good satisfying dinner, this place is not it.

Very disappointed in this restaurant! It is normally my go to for special events but NEVER AGAIN!! I ordered 2 ribeye plates exactly the same way medium well. One ribeye came out juicy, well seasoned, good and tender the second one dry as a powder house, tough, had to chew for ever just to break in down, pathetic! I sent it back by the waiter and to see if it is the correct steak she takes it back to the cook… he proceeds to holler,“WHHHAATT??? it’s medium well what she mean (Yelp he missed the word… does), what she want I’ll cook another I ain’t cookin it medium well”. He continued on with his loud, country, and unprofessional self, talking and expressing how upset he was that I sent back this steak. I then told the waitress I did not want the anything to take the entire plate because the way he responded made me feel like he would do something to my food and I’m not giving away money! And no I’m not one of those people that complains about everything I’m very understanding I have worked in the fast food years and I know sometimes food is messed but I have never responded to a customer this way!! Now u would think after the cook has messed up my food, given me horrible customer service they would just take back the 2 sides items with no problem… NOPE! I had taken a bite off of my twice baked potatoe, 2 or 3 of the broccoli floret while I was waiting for his unprofessional self to start cooking my steak after we had already waited an hour for the plate initially, due to “a party being before us” although we were sitting at the table and heard when the party came in and say they had a reservation! But they proceed to tell the waitress I have to pay for the sides because I ate off of them and I said I’m not paying that… the waitress went and told him what I said and here comes this cook and his grandma stating somebody gonna pay for it hollering again over the restaurant… what made me check myself tho is the fact that my son asked me mama what are u gonna do and it made me say this is a teaching moment for him.. and I said son if u do right God always handles the rest I calmed down when the lady returned I asked for my ticket gave her the money waited for my change…by the way the waitress gave me back too much money but I used that moment too!

I went there on Saturday April 4 2026 the waitress sat us in a dark empty room, where there barely was any lights and you couldn’t see the menu, I guess she did it because we were African Americans. I felt the racism towards us so we left and when I looked at her she was smiling and then she stop, I knew then that she was racist and I’ll never go there again.
