This is my favorite restaurant! Been eating here my entire life.
The best Mexican food around, and I grew up eating here all the time. The large plate or the medium plate will be the best.

The Mexican Kitchen is a family-owned restaurant in Columbus that has been a staple for decades. The unique and authentic Mexican food is absolutely delicious and worth trying, with dishes like beef tostadas and the "Chicken Surprise" being standouts. The restaurant has a quirky decor and a cozy atmosphere, with super friendly servers and a simple menu. Don't be in a hurry if you go, as it can take time on busy nights. All you need to know is small, medium, or large plate, or an order of tacos. Oh and them tamales are the best! While it may not be for everyone, with its dark and unusual ambiance, it's definitely worth a visit. With its rich history and loyal following, The Mexican Kitchen is a great spot to try something new and satisfying.
