“Diamond in the rough. Been traveling thru Corinth for years and if time permits, I try to stop and sample their food. Always satisfied, never disappointed. On latest visit I was so pleased that I decided to post first ever comments about something. If you looking for a different taste experience from the local standard, go there. Their Shawarma is excellent and plating is layout very good.”

“I got the bbq plate, and it was good , but I didn't taste much smoke flavor. I courious if it is hickory pit cooked or electric pit cooked? I liked the pitato salad. The beans could have used a bit more flavor. The slaw had to be pre made from a food supplier, I've tasted that flavor at food shows, and I don't care for it. I'm old school, and I like vinegar slaw with my bbq. I'm probably more critical than most because I've spent 34 years of my career in food service. I would prefer a bun or loaf bread over the buttered texas toast, but that's just my preference. I'm almost sure the menu said 1/2 bbq . It wasn't that much , I'm guessing 1/4 to 1/3 lb but not 1/2 lb. If it was, it would have been a much higher plate. Ok, I had a lot of negative comments, but I'm critical about food because I've done it so long. All that to say, I would go back I would just order diffently , probably a sandwich with chips and a drink.”

“Very likely the cleanest buffet I've ever seen. They take special care to keep the cold stuff cold and the hot stuff hot. Also, we are seniors with aged immune systems, and we're tickled pink with the fact we've not gotten a Food borne illness from them, even after all this time. Not once. Last but not least, their sweet tea is delicious.”

“We stopped at Kenny’s on way back to Illinois and what a treat! Mr. Kenny was there and we chatted and the young lady at counter was very pleasant. We ordered the rib dinner and the meat was delicious fell right off the bone. She let me taste the blueberry 🫐 banana pudding which I’d never had..was different but good. We will definitely stop in again when we’re in the area ..BLESSINGS”

“We went with friends last night for dinner. We were on the patio. We ordered a guacamole. It did not look fresh. Long story short we did not care for it. We asked our waitress if she could swap it out for a large cheese dip. The manager came out arguing with me and kept asking me why I didn’t like the guacamole. He wouldn’t stop asking. It was very unprofessional. He just wanted to let me know I was still going to pay for the guacamole. That’s fine but how he acted was sooooo unprofessional. We won’t be going back 🫠”

“Freshly cooked seafood at the right price!! They are very nice 👍 The food was outstanding!! Delicious, so filling and just overall the best!! I had the shrimp and the sauce was amazing- my husband had the fried Catfish and hush puppies-well seasoned and cooked to perfection!! We will be back!”

“This was the first time we visited the place. Very homey atmosphere and the food was really good! I gave it a 4 star because they do not take debit/credit cards. I didn't see it posted anywhere that they only accept checks/cash and if it was posted, I apologize, we did not see it! They let us run to the atm to get money, very nice of them!”

We were visiting from Tuscaloosa Alabama and I have been talking about Cafe Mikes since we left ! We ate there twice and I’m debating on taking a day trip just to eat there again!! “It is locally owned and not a chain with the big corporations, the food always tastes fresh and always gets to you hot.
My favorite is the Eathan burger, double hamburger patties bacon, and you can have it with the works, have to smash it down just to be able to wrap your mouth around it, they are very delicious, the significant other he lives the slug burgers, not sure what is in the burger. And everything is reasonably priced. 2 ppl can have a burger frie and a drink for under $16.00 before the tip.”

“Great food and our waiter JJ was fabulous! Hostess not so friendly and rolled her eyes when we said party of 12. Got there about 2:15 and pretty much place was empty. She asked if we had a reservation and then proceeded to roll her eyes. Oh and the skillet cookie….Miniature size! Disappointing”

“My wife and I used to go every month as our night out. We are nearly 70, and both worked with the public, so maybe we understand a little better. We love the shrimp, the service, the fact that I used to buy my girlfriend an ice cream cone there 50 yrs ago when it was a "Dixie Queen". It's not their fault no one wants to work. “I’ve been to Baskin Robbins all over our country and have never been to one as clean and as positive as the one in Corinth, Mississippi. The staff is so personable, professional and friendly and super helpful. It’s refreshing to experience service like they offer!”

“I think they must be getting ready to move, because the outside is non inviting and the inside looks like it needs a lot of work with bad ceilings tiles showing leaks and some floor cleanliness issues. That said, the staff was awesome. They were courteous, fast, clean using new gloves regularly. The food was great and very fresh. I hope the cosmetics are remedied, because this was a good stop.”

“WONDERFUL! After constant bad customer service and poor quality food at our local KFC restaurants, we stopped dining all together at KFC. And that was 15 years ago.

So we decided to give this location a try and we’re definitely glad we did. They were amazing. Friendly staff that seemed to know exactly what their duties and tasks were and executed them perfectly. The place was busy but they were cool under pressure.

The food was fresh and hot, as it should be considering the prices of the food industry now. (People work hard for their money and when you get an opportunity to eat out somewhere, you expect it to be top-notch and fresh and hot for the money you pay.)”
