Tops BBQ has great service and kind staff. The meat is good and tender, and many customers have found the barbecue sauces to be impressive. The BBQ sandwich and barbecue beans have received mixed reviews; while some enjoy the pulled pork sandwich, others feel the barbecue beans are not warm and taste like pork and beans with chili sauce. The sampler plate remains a tasty option, though it may not always be warm. The fries are still basic crinkle cut frozen fries. The chicken is decent, but the bun can be flat and cold. The mac and cheese is not a favorite for some. Parking can be difficult, particularly for people with disabilities, as the handicap spots are often blocked by the drive-thru.
