Passing through from Saucier to the house and decided to stop for early dinner and it didn't disappoint. Fresh, cooked to order entrees and very comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely make the drive back
I have been eating here since the late 1990's. The buffet was good and I miss it. The portions are large and the food is cooked to order. Even with the new management, the food is consistently excellent, They thoroughly cook everything and the sauces are not too salty. The staff are always friendly, like family. Recently retired, now there is time to drive anywhere to eat, but I always prefer what 5 Happiness offers.
We live in Diamondhead so have eaten at Five Happiness so many times we can't count them. Always great food, great service, relaxing atmposphere, and prices that are very reasonable.\n\nUsually two hot serve-yourself tureens, almost always Egg Drop soup or Hot & Sour soup -- something to get you started right away while you're waiting, which won't be long.
