We really enjoyed Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The fried mushrooms were the best I have ever had - large mushrooms sliced thin and fried - excellent. The seafood nachos were also good. I had the Louisanna Leyton (redfish topped with crabmeat and crawfish sauce), which was a nice portion and terrific flavor. My wife had the fried oyster platter. Her oysters were well seasoned and fried to perfection. My daughter had the crawfish etoufee, which she loved also. All entrées were nice portions, and the service was friendly.
2024 review: great food, but while waiting on to go box for the left overs the buslady took away a full plate of potatoes and a third of a plate of Bayou Businelle, which were going to be my lunch the next day. The server didn't care that the buslady took it away, and only offered to get an order of potatoes after we complained. Tip was adjusted down, but I'm still bitter over the situation.2023 review: Always excellent food and service.

Food was great, but the service is what makes it special! Positive, upbeat and funny! We had the shrimp po' boy, gumbo, redbeans and rice and my son had the chicken fried chicken platter. Excellent breading on the shrimp, flavorful gumbo and homey red beans and rice. Really enjoyed stopping in!

The restaurant is cozy, with authentic Cajun food. I had the red fish with crab sauce and cheese. Different and delicious ?. We also had the jalapeno as an appetizer, it's definitely enough for 2 people and was quite tasty! The price was reasonable, and they serve large portions. A great place to go for good Cajun food!

We have always had a good experience here!... The hushpuppies were a lil over done tonight, but not burnt or anything, and the fish wasn't cooked as hard as I like, causing it to flake/ crumble when cut ...The waitress is awesome, she cuts up with ya and brings plenty of extras! We've had her before, (but imma terrible with names)!! Lol. The portions are great imo!Wheelchair accessibility: There's handicapped parking spots up front, but the only wheelchair access ramp is on the side of the building, iirc (if i remember correctly)

It was okay. I had the Vietnamese catfish and my coworker had steak and shrimp. The catfish was no different than regular catfish as far as I could tell. My coworkers steak was very fatty and he said it had a big piece of gristle in it. The shrimp were small and few. The place was clean and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I have no complaints, but that being said, it was just average food. Maybe if I had tried something else.

We're from New Orleans and this is not authentic New Orleans food the Red beans no bell pepper or celery taste like red beans came out of a can disgusting and my mom's stuffed crab was full of Cayenne pepper and when we told the waitress about the food she didn't like what we had to say we won't be

The drink prices are good The food is okay not that great for the price they charge Plus they add some kind of service charge on your check and then when you go up to pay they add another 4% because you pay credit card My God get over it the whole world uses a credit or debit card and they're charging us more money just a reflection of the tip I won't go there no more I was not impressed. Then she told me the dinner menu was already started at 2:00 p.m. when is lunch at 8:00 a.m.lol
