El Rancho Bar & Grill - D'Iberville

These folks accommodated me 10 minutes prior to closing. They provided free chips and salsa. I ordered a Michelada and the presentation was superb outfitted with orange slices, grilled shrimp Mexico flags and a cherry on top. Got an order of the QuesaBirria. It arrived quickly with 3 tacos, consome, salsa and a side of rice and beans. Everything was very appetizing and delicious.

Everything was awesome even the female waitress was very cute and nice.

The food was fine, but we went on Valentine’s Day and were “accidentally” overcharged, we asked the waiter for the itemized bill. He did not bring it and instead said he put in just the margarita $10 more expensive. The bill was still $77 after it was removed, which we still knew was incorrect but didn’t feel like we would get the itemized bill and wanted to have a good time on Valentine’s Day, not fight with the restaurant. Our food was $27.99 (we split it) the L margarita final charge was $16.99, other than that we got a sweet tea and a queso, which I guess totals out to an extra $32... A few days later, we noticed both charges pending on the account. We called and they said the first charge would fall off within the week, and would not post on the account. Over a week later, both charges have taken from the account and when I call the manager apparently isn’t there.

Definitely eat here if you love to have your money stolen! Probably shouldn’t though if you don’t want to be overcharged TWICE!

The new owners will be changing the name to Monterrey. They are slowly remodeling and will be changing everything to the new name in the near future. Great service and the atmosphere will be great once the remodeling is complete. The food was good except for the chips. My wife and I prefer the thin warm chips instead of the cold thick chips. They make thier own spicy hot sauce that brought the heat but had great flavor. The menu will be changing with some new options coming soon. Will definitely be back and looking forward to seeing the improvements

Haven’t been here in a couple months but this trip was phenomenal. They made a couple changes and definitely improved immensely!!! Highly recommend!!!

While we had good service, the food here is not good. It’s not horrible, just not good. It’s as if they pull all the pre-made flavor lacking ingredients off the sysco truck and throw them together and in the microwave. I would’ve given 1 star, but the service put it up to a 2.

Always have a good experience and food here. Not only is it cheaper than fast food, it's real food by nice people. Will continue to go here.

The chips and salsa were not good. The chips were cold and the salsa wasn't very flavorful. We ordered chimichanga chicken. The cheese dip on top was good and the fried tortilla was okay. The chicken inside tasted like can chicken. I would not recommend. The only thing that was a plus was our ticket was 14.71. The air conditioner was also out. There was a large fan though. Maybe we just had a bad experience.

Was there a few days ago. No air conditioning and we were sweating as soon as we ordered. Birria tacos had no flavor and were soggy. Our margaritas tasted like the actual margarita mix with no alcohol.. this place used to be good years ago. It’s a wrap for us. We’ll stick to what we know.
