IHOP is not the experience it used to be. They need to focus on less menu items and better basics: good food and good service.

we waited inside of the restaurant for 15 minutes. No employee greeted us nor did they give us any information regarding our wait time. However, there were not a lot of people inside, nearly empty, but several employees chattering amongst each other with one young lady on her cell phone.There was also another family waiting in the lobby prior to us getting inside. The beginning experience was awful so my family and I decided to leave. I do not believe that I will return to this location because this is not the first time receiving horrible customer service. I would think that the owner would reconsider the people that he employs and possibly be more alert and available to the business. Also, the reviews on here regarding customer service, cleanliness, and friendliness are accurate. Don’t be mistaken.

My family and I have not been to this ihop in at least 4 years due to the last experience we had with this ihop. So when we found out it was under new management and supposedly better we decided to go ahead and give it another chance. Unfortunately we were met with a few issues that made it to where we will not be returning again. The first issue was the understaffing of servers. Half of the restaurant was closed off on a busy Saturday morning. Okay I get that one we can let it slide. The next issue was the chocolate milk I had tasted spoiled. Issue number three when I asked for a water it took so long to get it I had forgotten I even asked for one and it was shoved right in front of her startling her. Fourth when delivering the silverware we had two forks and one spoon to split between the four of us. Thankfully god gave me my own utensils when he made me (my fingers). Fifth the quality of the food. The food was mediocre at best. The hashbrowns were delicious and the eggs were good as well. The sirloin tips though had an odd flavor. Not sure if they’re suppose to taste like teriyaki but they did. My step fathers eggs did come out wrong the first time but they instantly got fixed which we were very thankful for. Sixth problem was when leaving my step dads lid for his to go box popped off and when the person helped him put it back on they grabbed the box, flipped it over and kinda shook it, then handed it back to him. I feel like at that point they should have just put it in the bag we were putting it in and set my box on top. There was no need to shake up his box and bust his yolks. Thank you for reading this and I apologize that it is so long. I am a detail oriented person.

Ordered to go. Person taking order was having issues finding what I was ordering. Had to tell him I had options on my meals. Went over order when finished. Went to pick up and part of order was wrong and most of order was cooked wrong. When I said something. She said you'll have to wait if you want the whole order precooked. Another person came out to swap the correct sausage, and then the lady proceeded to tell me that I would not have liked my food if it had been cooked the way I ordered. At that point I told them I would go elsewhere.

The quality of the food was not on par with what you’d expect from IHOP. Short order cook did not know how to make soft scrambled eggs. The pancakes were dense and doughy and the coffee was not even fresh. Although hash browns and ham were featured on menu, we were told that they didn’t have any. It was around 10:30 AM and only a few customers in the restaurant. We left and headed to Starbucks. Very unsatisfactory service for an IHOP.

The staff was rude and food took almost an hour. There were two orders, a French toast and pancakes. Loved the food, but the service and wait time received is not ideal.

The reason I am giving 1 star is because I have had a very poor experience when it comes to my money..The service and server was nice but this is my complaint..
I dined in the store on October 5, 2024 at 9:37 am. The check number on my receipt is 139172143 and my total amount paid was $20.92 on my debit card.
I checked my account later that afternoon and I was charged an extra amount of $16.68
I called back that night on 10/5/24 and spoke to a young lady for 3 minutes an 15 seconds who said no manager was therr so she wrote down my name and number and told me I should call back the next day and bring my receipt back to the store in order to be refunded for the extra amount.
On 10/6/24 at 7:47 am I called back to the store and spoke to another young lady for 2 minutes and 51 seconds she confirmed she had received my information and I did not have to being in a receipt and told me she would talk to the manager when they arrived and give me a call back. I did not get a call
On 10/8/24 at 2:14 pm I called again because I had not received a call from anyone and my money still had not been refunded to my card. I spoke with a young lady for 9 minutes and 36 seconds who pulled up my receipt and told me she will print it out and give it to someone at corprate and let them review it and assured me that it would be taken care of.
On 10/15/24 I called at 11:47 am and 11:55 am got no answer
On 10/16/24 I called at 10:53, 11:07, 12:17 and 6:20 no answer either time
On today 10/17/24 I called at 5:17 no answer
It is now 6:05 pm and I am writing this review because I still have not spoken to anyone and my money has not been refunded to my card.
I want to say this also: each time I spoke with someone at the restaurant each young lady was very nice to me and and I guess did the best they could do to resolve the issue and that is very greatly appreciated. Also the server that took the order was very nice and friendly.. my problem is that I was charged 2 times on my card for only one meal, and I would just like to be reimbursed for the extra meal that was charged to my card. Can someone please help me to get this issue resolved. Thanks in advance.

Table was dirty. Employee wiped it off with a dry cloth which did nothing! Waiter was dismissive and not attentive. Was way more attentive to white customers! Food was okay, nothing spectacular. There was way more employees laughing and playing at the front counter than attending to customers!!
