The shrimp poboy is the best I've had in 40+ years. So fresh and overflowing. The Wife tried a muffalatta and it was right up there. Sounds great? It was, but I have to say 'but'. We were the second couple in the door at lunch. The friendly staff took our order quickly, got our cold bottle of Barq's and sat down. Waited and waited. Forty minutes later our food was ready. Yes, we'll be back but only when we have one and a half to two hours. Let me remind you, the food is fantastic.

I normally don't review places unless they are really good, but I'm angry that I wasted my money here today. It was my lunch break at work, and I came here with my coworkers. Prices were a bit high, but that's whatever. I decided to get a half fried shrimp and half fried oyster plate. It had plenty of shrimp, but only 5 oysters. AND they charge you extra if you want oysters instead of fish. 5 OYSTERS. Everything was battered in cornmeal with no seasoning and just fried. Frozen shrimp and oysters in plain cornmeal. That's not how it's done. One coworker didn't get his food until the other 3 of us were done eating. So that's why the service didn't score higher. Coworker wasn't happy about his roastbeef either. Wish I would have got the hot sausage. Maybe I would have had a more pleasant experience.

Brung my family of 3 here to test out if it has a true taste of New Orleans, food was solid 3/5 but we noticed how the wall dividing the restaurant was basically used to separate my black family from the white families, and as more white families came in the stuff them to that side until they started sitting them at the bar! So just be aware when you come to eat at this establishment

Absolutely unacceptable. If it is going to take approximately an hour to get your food through the drive through, they should let you know that when you place your order. My 2 little boys and I sat waiting for over 45 minutes for our food. And when I went to ask about it, I was treated in a very dismissive passive-aggressive manner from the workers who made it very obvious they did not care at all that we had been sitting there waiting for nearly an hour without being told ahead of time that it would be that long. This is a place that we used to frequent somewhat regularly and we will not be returning again after being treated in this manner.

The food & the service is always good. I had a small mishap with an order & the owner called me himself and made sure everything was taken care off. Great customer service! If you haven’t tried them please do. I promise you won’t regret it!
One of the best places to get poboys on the coast!! The food is perfectly seasoned, and the portions are plentiful! You can't go wrong at Quave Brothers!
