Food was above average. Service and atmosphere were nothing special. The place was clean and the warm towel was a nice touch.

If your looking for a nice Japanese restaurant that has everything plus more with a great atmosphere and lovely staff, then this is your place.I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, and it was cooked to perfection ? . Would definitely recommend for families for dinner or lunch. They have great specials and great prices. ?

Great sushi, drinks, calamari. Bento box wasn't good, the meat tasted cheap. I wouldn't ever order again. The atmosphere is very nice. I'll return.

I'm unsure if this place is under new management or whatever the case may be, but wow, complete 180 from previous years of past experiences! I prefer Samurai overall! Highly recommended, very clean and professional. Everything I've ordered has been incredibly fresh.

Food was very delicious!Sushi tasted very fresh and the hibachi wasn't too oily or under seasoned, it was perfect.Wish I lived closer I would go every week.Vegetarian options: A nice choice of vegetarian rolls

This place is always great. I have not had a bad experience here yet. I've been eating here for about 10 years and there has not been a change in the quality of service or food. It has always been great.Food is prepared quickly and is brought out in a good sequence: "soup/salads first, then appetizer and then entree last". Alot of restaurants these days screw that up somehow.I'm not big into the specialty sushi rolls but their basic rolls are cheap and on point. They taste better than the specialty rolls and are half the price or cheaper.Definitely my favorite Japanese restaurant on the coast. They have another location in South Gulfport. I've only been twice but from what I remember, it is also very good.

The two stars is for a takeout lunch that we got. We are just visitors in the area and we had a lot of running around to do so we placed a pick up order. The edamame was amazing, the steamed dumplings were pretty good, and we had one sushi roll to split and that was pretty good. it was the salmon avocado roll. Later in the day I took my daughter to the airport, but I stayed another night so I decided to go there for dinner by myself. I ordered the edamame which was twice the size of the pick up order that we had that day. I wasn't expecting that, and I ordered a Bento box. I ordered the clear soup with it. You get two entrées which I thought was a lot. I ordered the chicken Katsu and the shrimp tempura. Unfortunately, it was night and day from the quality of the food that we had for lunch. Not the edamame, that was pretty good. The chicken Katsu was bland and greasy, the clear soup was very fishy, the eggroll was mushy and greasy, the fried rice was, like it had been soaked in grease and bland, the tempura was bland. I couldn't even eat it. I had a couple of bites of everything and I was done. That was $30 in the toilet. I was largely ignored too. At one point a woman who was not my waitress walked by and I said, do you have any salt? She just kept going like she didn't hear me. My waitress got busy with an influx of people and so I just sat there thinking about how I had made a mistake. I had a stomachache half the night. It was just a bad experience. Maybe they are more popular for their sushi.

This was one of my favorite spots when I served at Keesler AFB. I introduced my love to it yesterday and let's say this will be our spot. Bc today we went again for lunch.

One of my favorite lunch stops when I’m in D’Iberville. Tucked away in the same shopping center as Academy sports, it’s easy to miss this place when you’re driving by - but it’s worth the stop! The greeting with a warm towel is top notch! And you can’t beat the lunch specials - my favorite is the sushi and sashimi which comes with soup and salad ? ? ? .Whether it’s for lunch or dinner - next time you find yourself shopping in the promenade, make a stop at Samurai!Parking: Very easy parking! Samurai is located in a shopping center so it’s never any problem to park!

One of the best options for sushi and other Asian cuisine with a classier vibe. Service is top notch and attentive from the get. They offer hot towels to clean your hands before your meal, and are quick with refills or to offer a suggestion. Love the tuna tartare with quail eggs and black caviar as an appetizer. Huge fan of the yellowtail rolls and fried shrimp tempura as well.Thank you all so much for a lovely night out for dinner. It's always a treat.
