New Years Eve my wife and I visited the Scarlet Pearl and decided to give the cafe a try. Very nice staff at the host podium. Was seated right away with no wait for table for 2. Our waiter was Brooke and she was amazing and had a great attitude and charisma that made our dining experience even better. The prices are a little steep but since we were using our meal comps from the casino we weren’t worried with prices. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp as a meal along with the Phillycheese Steak w/ provolone cheese with baked beans for the side. The pictures doesn’t do the flavor packed in the meals! Definitely will be back!

I had a lovely time at this place for my birthday weekend. The decor was absolutely stunning and charming. The food was fantastic overall. However, I was a bit disappointed by the unfriendly attitude of the waitress. 10/05/2024 It seemed like she was being a bit sassy and it definitely affected my experience. Goodness I still regret not even reporting the matter to the manager. Not to mention she didn't even check on us not once for refills. The nerve she had to through her finger up I could go on & on!!

I ordered a water to drink while I waited on my meal but I didn't get it until my meal was delivered. I ordered over medium eggs and pancakes. The eggs or overcooked in the pancakes were heavy and undercooked and the dough tasted Raw. The waiter was trying to get the manager to come talk to me but they didn't make it over fast enough and I had to leave so I just paid the bill and called it good but I definitely will not be back

My girlfriend and I were there this past Friday and the Friday beforehand. Last Friday we ate at Under The Oak. I ordered a slab of ribs and she ordered the fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken. I come for the ribs. The ribs are usually on the spot. This time the ribs were tough which wasn't a big deal. This does happen, you do get sometimes a badd apple in the batch. John, the new manager who is transitioning over from the orchid room walked by and I stopped him and explained to him what was going on with my ribs. He was very courteous and willing to help. He took the ribs into the kitchen and came out and said the chef even said they were tough. Eventually a new order came out and they were spot on. John was very professional. Took the time to talk to us and actually concerned about our needs. It was nice to have someone professional like him addressing our order. Then. I think her name is Jen, our waitress. Oh she was great. She was right on it. She was ahead of herself. Couldn't have asked for a better server. First server ever and I mean ever who they are to give give us hand wipes for the ribs. I appreciate the professionalism and the concern that they expressed over our experience. Five stars was well deserved for both of these people.

Used to eat here often. My favorite is/was the chicken tenders. They have cut it back to 2 small tenders. Some oakra supposed to have gravey. All for $16.00 pointed this out to the manager she said they were cutting cost. You get more from a chicken tender meal at McDonald's. It was like some kind of kids meal. This will be our last time to go there with guests. Very very disappointing

Always sat at the bar where we received excellent service from Sommer. Don't order the $58 steak sandwich. It's good, but not that good.

It is always a pleasure to share my wife's and myself experience at a restaurant. It goes without mention that my wife and myself are habitual and loyal customer's. The menu is expansive, reasonably priced, and very satisfying. The chiefs and staff are extremely experienced, well trained, and very competent. Also, substitutions are provided to accommodate your diet. Altogether, bravo! Job well done.

Absolutely love the new look of Under the Oak Cafe. Our server was Renee and she took very good care of us. Great service, great food and Renee had a wonderfully pleasant personality.

The menu options were very limited. Maybe 6 options for dinner (not including burgers). 27$ rib plate, 26$ fried Pork chops, gumbo 11$ cup, soup 7$ cup, seafood bread 18$. The service was great, Eric did a wonderful job. The food was great just wish for more of a selection.

My family decided to try under the oaks for the first time last month. Surprisingly empty restaurant and still had a 30 minute wait. We were sat by the nice host then waited another 20 minutes but a waiter never came. Had more than enough time to take beautiful photos. We walked out very disappointed. Beautiful restaurant not much attention to service.
