The Under the Oak Cafe is a casual breakfast, lunch, dinner restaurant. The atmosphere is sort of neat, almost like a fantasy version of a large oak tree growing out of the lobby. The food is also casual with standard breakfast items and sandwiches. Our server was friendly and attentive and the location allows children to enter without going through the casino.

I loved the shrimp poboy here. The shrimp are big and the poboy bread is delicious! Reasonable price also! Vincent waited on us and provided excellent customer service!

I had a great experience dining at Under the Oak. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were seriously generous—come hungry!
We ordered the fried pork chops, grilled salmon, and steak, and each dish was flavorful and cooked just right. The pork chops were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, the salmon was perfectly grilled with a nice char, and the steak was tender and full of flavor. To top it off, we shared some beignets that were warm, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet.
Service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere had a cozy, welcoming vibe. Definitely a spot I’d return to when I want a hearty, satisfying meal.

The service and atmosphere at Under the Oak Cafe were great. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was kind and quick. However, the food was not really what you'd expect for $20 a plate. The county breakfast was little better than continental breakfast quality food. The eggs were the only thing that seemed cooked to order, everything else seemed like it was picked off a buffet.

The Positive: When you first get to the restaurant, it looks absolutely amazing with the decor and design of the whole place.
The Negative: The server was extremely slow but only because they seemed to be understaffed and the food took nearly 45 mins for a Sandwich and Chop Steak meal which when arrived the Chop Steak was very good but the Cheese Steak almost had no toppings.
I would personally just save your time and money and avoid this place. Just pick a different place to eat at.

This is a very pretty place sit down and have lunch or dinner. I’m staying at the hotel and came here several times. I can recommend the gumbo soup, the fried fish sandwich, chicken Alfredo, chicken tortilla soup. These are all things we at here the past 2 weeks we we’re staying here. The servers are very nice.

New Years Eve my wife and I visited the Scarlet Pearl and decided to give the cafe a try. Very nice staff at the host podium. Was seated right away with no wait for table for 2. Our waiter was Brooke and she was amazing and had a great attitude and charisma that made our dining experience even better. The prices are a little steep but since we were using our meal comps from the casino we weren’t worried with prices. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp as a meal along with the Phillycheese Steak w/ provolone cheese with baked beans for the side. The pictures doesn’t do the flavor packed in the meals! Definitely will be back!

I had a lovely time at this place for my birthday weekend. The decor was absolutely stunning and charming. The food was fantastic overall. However, I was a bit disappointed by the unfriendly attitude of the waitress. 10/05/2024 It seemed like she was being a bit sassy and it definitely affected my experience. Goodness I still regret not even reporting the matter to the manager. Not to mention she didn't even check on us not once for refills. The nerve she had to through her finger up I could go on & on!!
