Our first dining experience ay Simmer On Down was this passed Saturday.
We had fried shrimp and steak.
Both dishes were delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly! The salad bar was fresh with many choices!
It's definitely worth the drive to Pine Grove/Dumas to eat there!
We will be back!
We’ve always loved eating here, however, tonight was the worst. I ordered steak kabobs and baked potato. The kabobs were extremely over cooked with mushy rice and my potato wasn’t warm enough to melt the butter. On the way out, I saw a waitress drop a butter pack off of a plate and onto the floor. She picked it up, put it back on the plate and delivered it to her customer. SMH
Even though I live close by, tonight was my first time trying it. There are no words…everything was fresh and delicious. There will be another trip made very soon in the future. Keep up the phenomenal work!!!
