Harp & Hound Reviews
Jan. 2026. Don't go by the menu on this sight. They have a different menu now. Old menu had fried codfish, no longer aviable as some other dishes. Very disappointed. Hap and Hound not on the ball for keeping up to date. The new menue should be posted.
We had lunch here yesterday and it was delicious! love the atmosphere and the food!

Located in Ellisville, Harp & Hound offers outside seating, though weather and outside elements can affect dining time. The restaurant has a front side and a back side with two different street entrances. Food is good and great, with portions that are great—everyone was full with leftovers to spare. The burgers are DELICIOUS, including the Past Your Prime burger & fries, though the meat seemed to have no seasoning. The Drunken Salmon comes with rice and green beans, but if they are out, a side salad costs extra. The blackened redfish in crawfish cream sauce and gumbo are amazing, and the collards are rich and flavored like mom's. Sweet tea is spot on. Service is as always amazing, with friendly, kind people. The building is a real cool building, though the room can be warm and booths could be updated. Prices are a little pricey but very much worth the trip. The menu has unique but familiar items.
