When I was 5-9 years old this was the only "fast food" in my little town. 30+ years later and I always stop by Wards when I see one and am never, ever, not once disappointed. I get a big one combo; the burger is one of a kind, the fries are superb, and the root beer is iconic and their own recipe. Do yourself a favor and try this place if you haven't had the pleasure!
I have eaten at this location for 13 years, Wards longer. The management here is very cold and disrespectful to people they don't care for locally. Today we were laughing, and asked to quiet down. I told them as a paying customer, there is no crime in laughter. Watching the prejudice of person makes the food less tasty. They are also not service dog friendly. As a trainer I was denied dining in and had my service dog card. Wasn't going to post this but months of personally...
Yesterday was our first time at a Ward's and have to say that it was a great experience. The cashier gave us a rundown of the entire menu and was incredibly patient. The food was fantastic as well. Will definitely visit again if driving through.
