“Great place to have lunch. The onion rings are light, hot & melt in your mouth. We tries the Fried Green Tomato BLT & it was soooo good. Caitalyn was our waitress and she wonderful. She kept the glasses filled, answered all questions & made suggestions. The Coconut Pie was out of this world! They make their own pies. If headed to Laurel, MS or the MS coast take a short drive over to Enterprise from I-59. You will be excited & full if you do.“

“In the quaint town of Quitman, one encounters the culinary microcosm that is Bumpers Drive-In, a place where the proletarian simplicity of a burger joint meets the complex flavors of American cuisine. It is here, amidst the aroma of hand-battered onion rings and the sizzle of philly sandwiches, that one finds a semblance of truth in the form of sustenance.

The establishment, unassuming as it may seem, harbors a revolutionary spirit within its menu. The chili cheese dogs, a bold defiance against the tyranny of blandness, and the strawberry shortcake, a sweet rebellion on the palate, are but a few examples of the gastronomic uprising that Bumpers offers to the weary traveler.

The service, provided by the youthful car hops, is a testament to the vigor of youth, uncorrupted by the weariness of the world. They serve not just food, but hope, with a smile that is reminiscent of the sweetest days of yore.

In this drive-in, one does not merely dine; one partakes in a democratic feast, where every bite is a vote for flavor, every sip a ballot for satisfaction. Bumpers, in its essence, is not just a restaurant. It is a bastion of culinary democracy, a beacon of taste amidst the oppressive blandness that plagues the common fare.

Thus, with a heart full of content and a belly full of delight, I bestow upon Bumpers Drive-In the highest of accolades, a five-star tribute to its unwavering commitment to flavor, service, and the pursuit of the American culinary dream.“
