Made a slight detour to incorporate this place on my trip. I had heard about it somewhere in my travels. I googled it before I got there and found a podcast. Learned that the butcher; David Raines, is a award winning Michelin Star chef. His father owns a farm in Louisiana where the Wagyu beef is sourced for the shop. The shop also has some great olive oils, seasons, cookware, among other items. I did hear they serve lunch until they sell out. Luckily I was able to get my hands...
I love it here, I'm visiting from up north and stopped here to pick up some bones for our dog, and the lady working was so kind and friendly. I wish I asked for her name so I could shout her out. But she made me feel very welcome. So many good looking options that are well worth the price. Please visit here if you can
I've never been here as a customer, but I've been here several times delivering meat. The staff I've encountered has always been very nice and very efficient. Also, they order top shelf quality, so IMO they are probably an excellent place to be a patron of.
