This has by far been the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. The only communication that I received was through text messages. The lady told me to pick up my son’s birthday cake on the day of the event between 9-6 and when my husband arrived to get the cake, she was not there. He was told for me to text her and I did. She stated that she was stuck in traffic and would not make it back in time for me to receive the cake for my event that started at 2! I then explained how unprofessional she was and she offered to deliver it after 4 o clock! Needless to say, I did NOT receive a cake or the smash cake that I ordered! I will NEVER order from Dream Cakes again and I will make sure I share my experience with others so they won’t have to experience what I did!!!!!!!!!! I would rather make a cake out of mud and eat it than order from someone so unprofessional and careless!!!!!!!!!!

My brother and his wife used Dream Cakes for their wedding on September 26th. Before we even went to take pictures at 12 pm the cake was falling over and coming apart from the bottom tier. When she was told that the cake was falling she told the wedding planner to fix it herself. When she finally went to fix it she scrapped a TON of icing off and tried to cover it with flowers. The bride and grooms dances were cut short (as were the ones with their parents) because the cake would’ve fallen over if it was not cut shortly into the reception. Only to find out into the cutting that one of the flavors was completely left out from what the bride and groom stated that they wanted. To say we were disappointed in Dream Cakes MS would be an understatement. And when called after the wedding, she did not try to make it right with the bride. AWFUL customer service.

I recently ordered a sweet sixteen cake from dream cakes. I have to say it looked and tasted delicious. It looked like the picture I sent her and I know it wasn’t easy to copy without using fondant. She used buttercream and it looked fabulous.

At first, Stacy started off really sweet & polite. However, after my horrible experience she exhibited poor customer service. My cake was supposed to have been delivered for my reception on 03/20/20 at 3:00pm (I had just confirmed this with her on the Monday the week of the event). At 5:00pm, my planner called me and told me the cake wasn’t there. I called Stacy, and it went to the voicemail. I left a voicemail, but no return call. I then called her cell phone (luckily I kept our message thread), and she still didn’t answer but I texted. She texted me back instead of calling. She then stated “OMG! I am so sorry. I had your event down for tomorrow (Saturday). I can get your cake to you by 7:00pm.” At this point, I was frustrated and freaking out because the most important day of my life, I could possibly not have a cake to cut! She arrived to the venue at 6:50pm, which was 3 hours and 50 PAST the time it was supposed to be delivered. The cake was somewhat leaning, and missing the small scrolls and accents that I had requested. I reached out to her the Monday after my event via phone and text, Wednesday via call and no response. I called her from another phone, and what a surprise she answered! I expressed my concerns, and after a few minutes, she hung up in my face...y’all NEVER order from this lady! If I knew then what I know now, I wold have taken my business elsewhere!! I see why she is closed, very unprofessional, nonchalant and didn’t own up to the fact that she was the one who dropped the ball! If I could give 0 stars, I would!

I got a cake from this Baker a year ago and loved it. This year we tried her again. She's no longer in Flowood and now works out of her house in Brandon. The cake this year was so different, I questioned if I was even the same baker or if the business had changed hands. The cake we were given looked very little like the picture we gave her. It tasted okay but a little dry...not great. Here's the inspiration pic vs the actual cake.

Terrible customer service. Your cake will not look at all like what you want....nothing like the photos you show them. Very rude. Disappointing. People thought I made the cake (I do not bake). The cake was so bad I didn’t want people to think I made it.

It was a very bad experience and If I would rate her service as a zero star if I can...Would not recommend anyone to order from her place... I sent her a picture of the cake from her website. When we went to pick it up, the cake did not look at all as the picture: smaller size, she did not put the decoration that the initial cake had, made it buttercream and we didn’t ask her to change it. She was several hours late to finish it. So expensive for the quality of the cake she made. I texted her with the complaints and she never answered back to apologize. So rude and not respectful. Not professional at all.

I just picked a cake up today that looked like my grandkids made it i bought it bc she had made it at a days notice but I am so disappointed and when I explained this to her through text after everyone who seen it thought it was a joke she told me get my cake somewhere else next time idk what happened to this company but it has went downhill I got cake last year that was beautiful they definitely need a new cake decorator I feel like I’ve been catfished the cake looks nothing like the detail work on their website

I started out speaking to the owner on the phone after several failed attempts at calling. She asked me to send her a picture of the cake I wanted via text message. I sent her the photo (off her website) and could not get her to answer the phone anymore after that. The rest of our communication was by text. I should have known something was wrong when she would not send a pic of the finished product. The cake looked nothing like what I ordered and it did not taste as good as the cakes I'd gotten from there in the past (last ordered about 3 years ago). If I could have given zero stars and still been able to post, my rating would be zero for unfriendly service and false advertising.

Definitely not what I expected from the photos they have posted on social media and their website. There is NO WAY the person or people that made the cakes they show photos of made my cake. I tried to get in touch with Stacy and got no response.

I tried to place an order for a boss baby theme. She asked me to send a photo of what I wanted. She TEXTED me back and said we don't do that and told me that any Kroger would do it instead of offering different options. I have done business with them before and I definitely will never do it again or allow any of my family. Which we all order our cakes from them.

I got married a couple of weeks ago and had Dream Cakes lined up to do my wedding cake. Sent pictures to the owner and the date and time of the wedding upon initial contact. Was told , no problem...we can make that cake and get it to you- delivery is an additional fee. I said great...I need it deolivered to the venue the morning of the wedding. ( all of this is local in the Jackson, MS area) I touched base with the owner one week before my wedding date to verify/ confirm that she would still be on to make my cake, and deliver it. I asked her when she would be delivering it so there would be someone to be sure and greet her on arrival to the venue. I made sure to verify the information one week out to ensure that there were no miscommunications for potential mishaps. The day of my wedding came and as the morning was winding down there was no cake and still no cake! My wedding started at 2:00 pm. My daughter in-law to be called the owner - the owner thought the wedding date was another time and date and NOT that day! My daughter in law to be sent a screenshot of our texted conversation from the week before to the owner. After some words ,the owner said she would make the cake. But wanted someone to come and pick it up- after further conversation, the owner agreed to deliver it. ( I had pre-paid for the cake and delivery fee when i ordered the cake) . The cake was delivered....it was leaning a bit , half of it was cold and half of it was warm. It was done in a hurry, I could tell. I am grateful that i had a cake at all...and it was almost what I wanted- I got yellow cake and not white cake which is what I specified. I specially asked for a hint of almond extract in the icing, ...did not get that. But i had cake. I guess the thing that gripes me after 2 weeks is I've never gotten a text from her apologizing for any of it. Could have been an honest mistake, but I won't take a chance with them in the future.
