Wasn't terrible but wasn't the best. Instead of using actual spice for heat content of the boil..they just used more seasoning... making it messy and still not spicy. And the seasoning was a wet powdery consistency. Ask for an extra tray for shells. Could have given an extra corn and couple potatoes too.
We have always loved Killer Crab. Best fried oysters on the coast. We decided to try the gumbo and shrimp poboy combo advertised on their Facebook page. We are thinking that the gumbo must have been close to being out...only 2 small shrimp in it, less than 3 small pieces of bell pepper, hardly any rice, it was just floating in the liquid. We tried it, but we won't get it again. The picture sure looks a lot different than what we got
Pretty decent place. The poor boy was on bread that was not traditional to poor boys, but it it tasted pretty good. The gumbo was a little bit thin, but had a pretty good taste to it. The coleslaw I didn’t like the taste didn’t need it. It was either older or there was something in it that just didn’t sit well with me. Oh I’d have another sandwich or something here first time is never the charm.
