Reeves Fish & Steak House

We always come away with having had a great meal here and great service. The atmosphere can be a little hit or miss depending on when you eat there and how crowded it is, how long the wait it, or how noisy and such. The owners and staff strive to provide a good meal and dining experience. We have eaten here many times and I've eaten most things on the menu. I have never had anything here I didn't like and they do an above average job at cooking the meats to the wellness you requested. Their salad bar is outstanding with a varied variety of items but the salad bowls are those sort of small cheaply made wooden- like bowls. They bring in quite the crowd as this restaurant is only opened the latter part of the week and on the weekend nights. Parking can be tricky if you have never eaten here. The restaurant sits on a little hill with a circle type drive and a couple large trees to park around/navigate in and out. There is usually overflow parking in a lot across the road from the restaurant. If it crowded or tables are full, there is a sign up for tables. The side door is actually where you go in and the front door (near the cash register) is where you exit. There are 4 seater tables and larger tables and tables can be pulled together usually in certain areas as well for a bigger group. They have a child's and sr meal section on the menu. The food is prepared fresh after ordering. There is only 1 bathroom that is just a single toilet and 1 sink bathroom. It is usually kept clean but the bathroom door opens right in to the dining area so it is sort of unnerving to use for fear a door locking mishap could occur and there you would be. Lol.

Good food and friendly service. Popular with the locals and can get crowded.

I had the fried catfish and my wife had the steak. Both were good. The hush puppies were very tasty, not greasy like some. They have a salad bar. I would go again.

Love to go to local places while traveling. Reeves was awesome. Steaks were great. If you get to Red Bay, you've got to make it to Reeves. Thanks Reeves for helping me celebrate my husband's birthday!!

The servers here are very nice even when they are incredibly busy. I was very happy with our server Tammy she was very sweet. The food was disappointing I’ll admit, I wasn’t impressed with the steak it was bland and kind of tough and we did have to wait an hour for it after we got our appetizer. But was very impressed with the great service.
