This was a spur of the moment Saturday outing with my family. Captain D's was very clean. The service we received was courteous, friendly & nice. The atmosphere was great! There were other people there, but they weren't loud or noisy at all. A person could have a conversation with the people at the table, & you didn't have to shout over anyone. Wife & I stopped in today on our way back to Arkansas. We had fish, chicken, & shrimp dinners. Very good food & nice service. No, not too healthy, but darn tasty just the same.
This place use to be a decent fast food place to go to, but literally the last couple of times I've been here, the food is disappointing. From the catfish being really small a either not fresh or over cooked...to food options like broccoli, green beans, the basics not being available...and the drive thru equipment being so raggedy that you can't hear what's being said.
