Great breakfast and lunch spot in downtown Greenville!
Historic location with lots of character. Old man’s liar table in the back!
Breakfast is eggs, toast or biscuit, grits and bacon or sausage. It’s good.
Great hot lunches; a meat and three. The burgers are good, club sandwich is good. Homemade salad dressings, excellent comeback.
Vegetables are seasoned well. Great, friendly service. Fast, efficient...

Sitting near the tail end strip of downtown Greenville is this lovely, local diner. The food was delicious and comforting, and I loved the homemade hot sauce for my from scratch biscuits and gravy. Lots of locals dining, chatting, making it a very lively experience. It's adjacent to where the original Stein Mart location opened. First time seeing a taxidermied, Peccary, tusked, Large Mouth Bass. I wonder what this mythical beast's name is?
Their recommendation was spot on. We had the Western Omelette with hash browns and toast. The omelette was a very good sized portion and full of grilled vegetables. The hash browns were amazing, lightly crispy and very delicious!! The coffee was very good, not bitter or too strong.
The staff was very friendly and courteous.
Would definitely recommend Jim’s...
