Coworkers ordered me a plate lunch while out today, I ordered the hamburger steak plate. When I opened the box, whatever it was that was supposed to be hamburger steak was almost grey in color and the inside was raw and it was compete mush. The purple hull peas were so salty you couldn’t not eat them, and the piece of cornbread was extremely hard. After examining this piece of meat I stuck it in the microwave to see if it would cook anymore and it did nothing. I ended up throwing the whole plate away. I have never had something so awful before. I gave the plate lunch a chance since every other time we usually do salads and they always seem to make us sick. I hate to do a bad review on someone’s business but the food they served me today should not be given to anyone else.

Me, my husband and sometimes friends have been to Stamson’s a lot in the past. But over a period of time it seems the wait time has gotten longer and then when we do get our food we have to asked several times for missing items or we just leave without receiving them at all. It seems as though they do not have enough waitresses. This last time we were there, Sunday, two tables were seated after us, but yet they put in their order and received their food and was eating before us. Then by the time they got to our order they had to come back and say they were out of two different foods on the menu. They seem to run out of food often, and our church is just down the road, so we get there about 15 after 12. Some of our friends will no longer eat there because of that fact. I hate this because Greenville needs good restaurants with good food. We are not too far from joining our friends and not returning. So sad because, for the most part, they have good food.
