Most restaurants serve the same thing and never have specials… F&J’s have a set menu with lots of favorites, but you can always expect multiple specials every time they open, and they are SPECTACULAR! EVERYTHING is made from scratch! BYOB adds a nice touch… They do an AWESOME JOB!”

Stopped in for lunch and was blown away—not just by the food, which was fresh, flavorful, and made with real care—but by the people. The burger was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the salads were crisp and full of flavor. The staff made me feel truly welcome, with warmth and kindness that made the whole experience even better. “Fantastic Black-owned diner buried in historic downtown Greenwood. Their Fatt-Mac burger was delicious, and the Philli Cheesesteak was one of the best I've ever tasted. Can't wait to go back and try their plate lunches, which looked and smelled absolutely heavenly.”

“For Thanksgiving giving my boyfriend ordered a Carmel cake and cheesecake. It was mediocre. The cake tasted old like it had been frozen then thawed. I do not recommend. Not one person liked it. The cheesecake lacked sweetness. I do not recommend either. They looked amazing only.”

“Wonderful little dining and buffet spot in town! Came here today for a small celebratory dinner for my Master's program starting this summer. It wasn't busy at all and the space was practically free of most diners, so a perfect time to chat and catch up with family and friends. Food was hot, although maybe the crab rangoons were a bit too fresh. Still very though. I got the general tso's, but it looked more like a dupe for Panda Express' orange chicken (again, VERY tasty) with a simple fried rice. Very accommodating to my grandmother and her request for tomatoes on her pepper steak. My brother and sister-in-law shared a heaping serving of house fried rice with crispy wings. I really wanted one, but I wanted them to enjoy their meal.

And our server was so sweet! She seemed very young, but still professional and always asked if we needed anything. I hope our tip was enough to prove our appreciation for her time as our hostess.

While I will miss Mai Little China and Greenwood for a new life chapter out West, I see myself stopping by whenever I'm back in my little hometown in the Delta for a visit.”
