Don't be put off by the "ambience" if you're passing through. Mississippi is a state that rewards the fearless. It may not look like much, but this place has the absolute BEST fried catfish you will ever eat! I stopped by because when in the Mississippi delta you have to have tamales and catfish. This place was open, convenient and had fried catfish. Wow! I stumbled into Heaven! Good down home fish like your mom & grandma use to cook. What a great Greenwood tradition that keeps on going and going. Stop by & try them - you will be glad you did.☺

We loved it! We had Catfish & Pantrout combo plate with bbq spaghetti & cole slaw and a COLD CAN POP! It's a must try if your in the area! We stopped in from Sallis, ms where we have a restaurant Blue Plate Lunch, so we like to try small owned business (restaurants) when we travel! Great choice!!
