We got off the highway to check this place out, no regrets whatsoever, well worth it. If you want to pass up the usual places near the highway and try something different just go for it. We were on the way to New Orleans when we stopped, we are here now and I can tell you their food is just as good as the best in New Orleans. Not sure how they do it but they have something special going on. Just pay attention to their hours.
Well worth the drive from Memphis and I'll definitely be back now that I realize how I need to order my food. And nothing was wrong with the food I ordered at all. But a 16oz gulf coast ribeye set up with the catfish plate with all the toppings was just a bit much but both was excellent. Perfectly cooked steak and catfish.
Friday night was our first time visiting. We had no clue this gem even existed so close to us. This is the first time ever trying a new restaurant where EVERYTHING was grandiose! We will most definitely be back with friends!! This will be our new favorite spot!
