I grew up in Bel Aire from the early 70s through the early 90s (left for the Navy). As kids we’d get snow cones from here. A treat for poor folk in 102 degree summers! Just south was the old Optimist Club (now a water company) that had an awesome arcade and the adjacent field (now a storage lot) was used for flag football.
