“We had a group come out. (Some came a little later than others) restaurant was super slow, and so was most of our service. (We had 3 different servers checking on us at first , and service was good in the beginning of our visit, then seriously declined toward the end.)Forgotten drinks, forgotten food, took asking 4 times to get a box at the end.The Brantley special with the filet, lobster, and crab cake was good. The oyster sampler not so great. Oysters weren’t on the shells, and the sauce from all the different flavors just ran together. Tough to distinguish the different tastes.Had a great time with our friends out on the deck - the view is nice and the patio tables have new umbrellas.Will give them another try with smaller crowd sometime and see if that helps the service.”

“when you walk into Mama's, you might not think much since it's just a counter and 2 small tables but from the smells coming out the kitchen and the friendly guy taking your order alone, you will already be excited to eat. I found Mama's maybe 4 weeks ago and we have been at least 8 times. everything is cooked fresh, it only takes about 15 minutes no matter what you order for your food to come out cooked perfectly and delicious. We have order a lot of different items on their extremely cheap menu and we havent found anything we didn't like. Definitely a weekly meal and no matter what you want from seafood to delicious hamburgers, this is the best place to eat in Gulfport”

“I'm in town on business from Detroit and had a fantastic meal tonight. I had the appetizer grilled shrimp tacos, a cheeseburger with salt and pepper fries, Mac and cheese and bread pudding. It was all delicious, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive. It's deficiency come back and urge people in the area to come for a meal!”

“They are a hole in the wall restaurant with no ambiance, but the food brings me over from Ocean Springs. They put enough heat in spicy entrees if you request it. The food always is served piping hot without unpleasant grease and smells amazing. I've had general tso, dragon and Phoenix, Singapore mei fun, fried and white rice, dumplings, Hunan beef, Chinese style egg rolls and Vietnamese style spring rolls, and even got them to make general tso without breading the chicken when I was keeping a low gluten diet. One note: This is not a buffet. Everything is cooked to order by good cooks. You deserve better than buffet food.”

“Ordered the shrimp cocktail and coleslaw for starters, the seafood platter with grilled scallops and shrimp for the main course, and the bread pudding with rum sauce for dessert. Although the shrimp cocktail was made with the smaller shrimp, was still quite fresh and the sauce was tasty. The coleslaw was also quite fresh with good flavor. Also, the bread pudding was nice and warm. Had great texture and excellent flavor with the rum sauce. The only issue I found was that the scallops and shrimp seemed a bit over cooked. So they were a bit rubbery when you but into them.”
“It was an afternoon stop, and the server was easygoing and friendly. The food was filling and tasty. The tortillas were so delicious! I don't always eat all the "carb-y" food, but it was hard not to eat them. They had a nice flavor, like they were cooked on a fire, not a flattop stove. Yummy!”

“The waffle house location is right on Highway 90 in Gulfport. It has a great view. They were not very busy. The food was of course excellent. I would recommend a pecan waffle or blueberry waffle. They are the bomb. Of course their hashbrowns are tasty as always, eggs were cooked well, and I chose their ham which was very good.The server just seemed to be a little bit out of it, but you know everybody has their days.And who doesn’t like waffle house, right? !”

We waited for 10 to 15 minutes before the wait staff stopped chatting and decided to take our drink orders. Although we apparently upset the waitress, we ordered our food at the same time. I guess there's a rule, wait 15 minutes to get drinks ordered and then wait some more to order food. The food was ok, I didn't get sick:) we weren't checked on again until it was time to get a ticket. I was disappointed.”

I was greeted at thr door, although I dined outside, I was checked on more times than chain restaurants. I know I can only rate 5 stars, I'm asking the universe to loan me 3 more for this place.”

My favorite is here is the little mini cakes (Bavarian and Chocolate) can't ever go wrong with these but during Mardigras season they also do a fabulous French style king cake (cream cheese plus pecan please). The owners are friendly and the service is quick, know that you will always get quality pastries when you visit here!”

“I was able to take my dad that is 85. He had a nice time but the only thing that was an issue is that they did not have the carts for your bags near the parking deck. It is a long walk for someone that old. It would have made it a lot easier to bring our bags in. Long walks every place you want to go. The places to eat closed early as well. They should have something for aft 11pm seeing they are a 24 hours. The room was nice but the carpet looks kinda old and needs to be replaced. The buffet for dinner was good but it would have been nice to be able to go to the pool. It was closed the last few times I have stayed with them. If the weather is nice it should be open not just by the dates on the calendar. In example Memorial Day to Labor Day.”

Parking was easy and it's a lovely location. I was able to sit by the window. The casino across the street obscured the beach view but they can't help that.”

It has shrimp about five different ways, maybe more, and lots of other seafood, even crawfish at the moment, and I love that, plus plenty of sushi and vegetables too. “We eat here once every week or two. Our most recent visit was during the Super Bowl. We dined with Bri and she is possibly the best server we’ve had yet. Even with the chaos of the Super Bowl ongoing, she kept our drinks full and the food coming. Everything we ordered was correct, and delicious. The oyster sampler not so great. Oysters weren’t on the shells, and the sauce from all the different flavors just ran together. We waited for 10 to 15 minutes before the wait staff stopped chatting and decided to take our drink orders. Although we apparently upset the waitress, we ordered our food at the same time. I guess there's a rule, wait 15 minutes to get drinks ordered and then wait some more to order food. The food was ok, I didn't get sick:) we weren't checked on again until it was time to get a ticket. I was disappointed.”
