Our meals were absolutely delicious! We had Sweet hot pecan chicken and GRITS, jambalaya with pasta, fried shrimp, blackened chicken sandwich and the pot roast sandwich and everything was so delicious! The portions are huge—we all took half home!
Our server was very personable and helpful and a lot of fun.
We sat on the lovely patio, and the only request would be to have a pull down shade on the west side. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

My mom and I came in mid afternoon, and the bartender Christy greeted us warmly right away. We sat, and Mom ordered a drink that is no longer on the menu, but Christy remembered the drink name and made it perfectly! (The Lucky Penny, please bring it back!) Our food was delicious-crab claws, gumbo with chicken confit, and perfectly battered and fried shrimp-with the bacon jam brussel sprouts-all delicious. Started out with an unfriendly welcoming despite having a reservation. Alyssa was out server and she was great, interactive and attentive. Food is good and as well as the bar drinks. Great wine selection.
