Great bar had fun here I was with 2 friends and we stopped in to watch the Cowboys and 49ers game Cowboys lost but still a fun night and the owner of the bar is very cool guy and we had great conversation with him I will go back againParking: It wasn't busy when we were there so we parked right in front of the place
Rooney's is not for the timid. It's a dive and loud talk, laughter, and occasional "smokin in the alley" is the order of the day. It is what it is. There's a regular crowd of cliques, all friendly, if they know you.

I happened to stumble across this bar while exploring Gulfport as I will be moving here in a few months from time of writing.Was immediately warmly greeted by Sean (Shawn?) One of the owners. I stayed for a few hours and several folks that were clearly regulars stopped by during that time. Sean introduced me to everyone and made me feel welcome and like part of a family there. We had great conversation and he even bought me a beer when I was closing out my tab. I'll 100% be back...read full review
