The food was delicious, but they need to work on their service. Our server did not tend to us until I asked the hostess to send her over to us. The wait time for our food was rather lengthy.

The server was friendly and attentive without being overly attentive. With as slow as it was, we were a bit surprised it took a half hour for the two plates of food to come out. The food was ok, even though the poached eggs were over cooked and the grits were more like polenta cakes, but still had a good flavor. With the wait time for the food, it gives you time to notice the build up of dust on the hanging fixtures (lights and speakers) and the burned out lights in the dining area. Did make me wonder if the cleanliness in the front of the house was any indication as to the cleanliness in the kitchen.

Service was awful took over 20 minutes to get water and then after ordering our food server never came back. We noticed other patrons that came in after received their food and our server (a brunette lady with glasses) never came out again to greet us. We ended up leaving because we had only received water. You might have been understaffed but it still does not make up for the lack of attention of service. I do not recommend!

We arrived at 7:00 AM on Tuesday, 12/9/2025. They had just opened. When we walked in, there was dirt all over the floor, which made it look like no one had cleaned the night before. When we went to the counter, nothing was wiped down from whoever was there last night because we where the first people there . When we received our order, the food was very cold and tasted like it had been cooked the day before. So needless to say we will not be back very bad experience for sure
