The food was delicious, but they need to work on their service. Our server did not tend to us until I asked the hostess to send her over to us. The wait time for our food was rather lengthy.
The server was friendly and attentive without being overly attentive. With as slow as it was, we were a bit surprised it took a half hour for the two plates of food to come out. The food was ok, even though the poached eggs were over cooked and the grits were more like polenta cakes, but still had a good flavor. With the wait time for the food, it gives you time to notice the build up of dust on the hanging fixtures (lights and speakers) and the burned out lights in the dining...
I did give 5 stars on the food because it was amazing. But my friend did get one thing she was very unhappy with. She ordered the Shrimp/avocado lettuce wrap. It should have been called the avocado lettuce wrap. It only had 4 shrimp in the whole thing and it was pretty big (the wrap). All the other food we ordered was really amazing. I had the shrimp and grits. We did order an appetizer fried green tomatoes and crab patties, OMG! those were to die for.
