We loved everything about Island View but C&G Grille! After being seated at our table we had to wait for at least 10 minutes or longer just for the waiter to come get our drink order. By the time he got there we were ready to order. The waiter was very nice just super slow! And I would have understood if they were busy but nope only 8 tables were being used with at least 4 or 5 waiters... Then came the food.. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine and my husband got the Cajun red fish. Neither had any flavor. The red fish was dried out. I literally had to get another waitress to get us to go boxes and the check!

Menu portions are large, you won’t go away hungry. Excellent quality with pleasing atmosphere. Shout out to Crystal my server for 4 days, she was great and always greeted me with a pleasing smile. I’ll be back -:)

New Year's Eve was very busy, but they did a great job. Our waitress was lovely and did a great job. There were two entertainers quietly playing and singing; they were excellent. The special, steak and eggs with hash browns was prepared to specifications, cooked perfectly.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy for wheelchairs, handicapped patrons.

Oh my grilled salmon was crisp on the outside juicy and flakey inside. Complements to the grill master and seafood gumbo is also pretty tasty. They have a good seafood platter as well.

We were seated right away…Madison was our waitress…she was very very very nice…we ordered the bbq wings for an appetizer…and they were absolutely delicious! We both ordered the catfish platters but he a Caesar salad for a side and I ordered potato soup….10’s across the board! Restaurant was beautiful! Madison was AMAZING! The food was AMAZING!!! I can’t wait to come back here again!

The food was great, especially the pecan pie. Hostesses and cashier were fantastic too, and clearly they have good cooks. This five star goes to them.If it were based solely on the manager however, I’d be leaving a one star. The one that seemed in charge last night was an older man who did not seem to have any respect for his workers, the people who are the face of the restaurant. He fussed at the cashier about making mistakes with my order and the way he addressed her felt disrespectful and inappropriate, and she took it with a smile. Kudos to her, but she shouldn’t have had to, and I should’ve spoken up, but I was just shocked by his rudeness that was just treated as a normal interaction basically. The cashier’s only “mistake” was being kind and helpful. She didn’t make any mistake. I, the customer, made a mistake, and she was helping me fix it. She didn’t even have to honestly. She could’ve just said, “Sorry, but too late to change anything,” but instead showed understanding, respect, and compassion. The boss needs to treat her, and likely all of his employees, better. They’re doing their job right. He’s the one making the mistake of treating them inappropriately. To him: do better. To the staff: Keep being awesome.

Service: Excellent. My server did a great job! Food: lackluster. The Caesar salad was drowning in dressing and the Chicken Parm and garlic bread lacked, well, flavor. Actuality the garlic bread was devoid of garlic. Good portion size, however. Overall: maybe worth going back to, but that dish isn't a draw.

Stafford was the best server we've ever encountered by far! He's so delightful and makes sure everyone has everything they could need. We didn't have to ask or wait for anything. And he's always smiling and will brighten your day. He should be training all servers at every restaurant. Oh, the all day breakfast was great after waking up late from gambling all night.Parking: The parking is free and abundant but it's kind of a long walk.

Horrible service. The table next to us ordered right before we did. He was served his food paid and left and we hadn't even been served our salad. The waitress kept saying it was just put in the window and she was going to get it but instead served three other tables. I asked the hostess to send the manager and saw her talking to the manager and pointing but the manager never came. After three tables that were seated after us ate and left we hot our seafood platter. Never got the salad. Catfish piece was not cooked through. Then we got our bill. No apologies. The waitress said she usually works nights. That was the excuse

Seems short staffed. Very friendly staff, but stretched thin. Food was fine, not a “must try” , but good for a Casino
