Great coffee bistro!! Coffee was full body, smooth and enjoyed in real cups. Pastries were delicious and enjoyed the bottled waters, excellent touch. Staff were so attentive. Enjoyed book browsing while waiting for our order.
A must for everyone, stop by and be impressed! ?

Me and my husband stopped on our way home to pensacola. This Is some of the best coffee I have ever had!! Rich, creamy, favorable!! They make there brown sugar in house!!

The service and food at the Cat Island coffee house was overwhelmingly good and the service was absolutely tremendous but we had problems because it changed names it still says cat house out on the roadway but it is called passbooks up close. Was very difficult to know that's where we were going.

Hidden gem. Cute little spot with a selection of books to peruse. Food was good. I had the breakfast croissant sandwich. Coffee was a bit sweet but still amazing.

The owner was the absolute definition of southern hospitality. He even gave my kids free desserts, but told them they couldn't eat them till after lunch ?. So nice and the drinks were wonderful!

Cat Island Coffeehouse is an absolutely delightful private coffee shop. We had a hot Mississippi Mocha and iced Honey Comb, both drinks had perfect balance of flavor and the texture of the hot drink was velvety to boot. Wonderful selection of books and the service and details of the shop were all intentional. Looking forward to returning next time we are in town!

I love this place and their Pass Christian branch. The servers are very kind and patient. The breakfast is amazing, especially their eggs and chai tea.

I love books. And it’s great that they have a wide African heritage and liberal selection but as a Mexican, these don’t particularly excite me. I like classical literature, traditional painting styles, unique creative finds, and objective journalism. The book selection at Pass Christian last I went was fun and varied. The book selection at the Gulfport branch could tend to a wider audience, especially the children’s section.

That said, I do understand and empathize with the reaction to the context that inspired this initiative. Most people around are very friendly, but others can make it clear to you that you are an outsider within 10 seconds of conversation.

I was looking for a quick not fast food spot to grab a vegetarian breakfast sandwich and happened upon this wonderful spot with the help of Google. The servers took my order with 1 min left on the clock for breakfast, THANK YOU!!! They did a great job and my sandwich taste amazing! I had already taken several bites before I could savor this moment with a photo and a great review. Photo: Egg over medium with cheddar cheese and a tomato on a toasted croissant. I'm claiming this as my breakfast spot! Signed Demi!
