I am so sad; today was my last visit to the Dolce Bakery. We've lived in Long Beach for 8 years & the bakery has always been one of our favorite stops. Long Overdue, But So Well Deserved!
I’ve been meaning to write this review for far too long, because Dolce truly deserves the recognition! I’ve had several custom cakes made by them over the years, and every single one has been absolutely stunning and delicious. Their attention to detail is incredible — the cakes always turn out exactly how I envisioned (or better), and the flavors are out of this world.
Beyond the amazing baked goods, what really makes Dolce special is the team behind the counter. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. On more than one occasion, I’ve gone in not quite knowing what I wanted, and they’ve guided me with great suggestions — and every time, I’ve walked out happy and excited.
If you stop by once, you’ll be back. It’s that kind of place — warm, local, and full of heart (and sugar!). Thank you, Dolce, for consistently being wonderful.

We had the best experience using Dolce for our wedding cake needs. The cake tasting was so fun- we got to try 5 different flavors and discuss our vision for the final product.
Brooke was so kind to work with and she is a person that you feel comfortable talking to. I also admire the fact that her bakery makes their own cakes and frostings - they taste fresh and homemade - super high quality.
Our cake was delivered on time and looked EXACTLY like how we asked - so gorgeous.
Every single guest said our cake tasted good - we had a strawberry shortcake flavor with buttercream piping on the outside, and sugared strawberry accents.
We snacked on our top tier the next day, so we plan to return to Dolce for another cake to celebrate our first anniversary. Cannot recommend them enough!!
