If you have not stopped by this lovely little bakery, you are truly missing out. While I have not tried anything other than the cookie butter cream cheese king cake, I'm sure they are as good as they look. Now back to the king cake! This is the king cake to beat all king cakes. King cakes dream of being this good! The presentation is great, drizzled with I think it's caramel and topped with crumbled biscoff cookies, its gorgeous! The icing is superb, not the typical powdered sugar, overly sweet yuck. It's light, little on the sweet side and just decadent! Now the cake itself! It is so moist and light, lots of cinnamon goodness filled with not too cookie butter and cream cheese, its amazing. Nearly every king cake I've had has been doughy or dry, not this one! So grab yourself a king cake from Dolce and don't forget to pop into Bankhouse coffee for an amazing cup of coffee to go with it. You can thank me later, I have coffee and king cake to consume!
