This upscale restaurant is a solid 4 stars. The atmosphere is lovely, the server was nice but didn't ask us if we wanted another cocktail or dessert. Just brought us the check. The food is good. The cocktails are superb. They are this close (insert thumb and pointer fingers together) to 5 stars. If they tweak a couple of things they'd be gold.
So happy to see my cousin & his family for our last night of vacation. Had the Best food hands down at a little Mexican restaurant off the main strip they recommended. They serve Way more than just Mexican food, which was also yummy: especially the guacamole & burritos, but have a mix of everything (see pics)!! 😋 The owner checks on customers too, and doesn't stay hidden. This place is truly a gem worth going to!!!
Update, it's now 2025 and I can't remember the date of my original posting, but I still stand by everything I said then. Oh, and the homemade corn tortillas are the best, take it from someone who generally doesn't care for corn tortillas. They also make my favorite shrimp and grits in the area. It's not on the menu, but if they aren't too busy, the chef will make it for you.
