Birria had little to no flavor and tables weren’t whipped. No one greeted us when we walked in, so we didn’t know whether to go ahead and seat ourselves or do we wait. Also a bit of a language barrier, but that’s what google translate is for.

Food was fantastic! We moved from Texas and have had some great birria tacos and these are right up there with some of the best. They also had a great topping station and the salsas were delicious. The staff was very friendly and food was cooked quickly. Absolutely recommend!

Their carne asada tacos can't be beat anywhere on the Gulf Coast. The rice and beans are simply phenomenal. As truly authentic as it gets. Been eating Mexican food my whole life and no where down here comes close to this place. I would have given them 6 stars.

Coming from southern california, we were missing something here, but El Lupillo’s was just what we needed. We got quite a bit of food and everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. I really enjoyed the birria tacos and pupusa’s. Salsa’s were spicy, our daughter loved her quesadilla, and my husband enjoyed the tacos. We will definitely be back.

We walked in to eat and they just kept talking and looked at us like we where stupid so we set down and my husband got a menu to order and when we went up to order the woman was rude so we just left without eating anything really the craziest restaurant I've ever been in.
