They were very accommodating with our seating request. Service for a large group was really good. Beautiful view and fun beachy vibe.
We are regulars and always enjoy it. This time we made reservations and requested a quieter corner window table. This is due to husbands PTSD as I try to help in areas possible. We arrived and there were many many empty tables next to window and away from others; however, we were seated smack in the middle table in between many others and away from the window. I did not complain as to not upset my husband and we just enjoyed the meal and left. Server was not the normal attentive servers but was ok. We will return again but ask that when your patrons make special requests during a reservation that you please accommodate them as you do not know reason why those requests are being made.
Food good but waitress was inattentive. Another server was taking care of our needs. The other table our waitress had also had sub par service from my interactions with them. The other servers seemed to be taking care of their tables so I will give the benefit of doubt to the establishment in regards to customer service. I'll eat here again and hope that we get better service from another employee.
I admit I was expecting more than a flat Pepsi drink experience from a place called Flaming Landing.
I ordered a rum and coke simple drink to pour and even mixed the drink myself several times.
A shot of rum to 2/3 rds coke.
Hum, my first taste was an eye opener afaide to taking another after that.
The food was not seasoned enough for my taste. To be fair, the first drink of my rum and coke numbed my taste buds.
The servers might have been overwhelmed with the few customers that were there around 3:00 pm. because they all hovered to one spot.
Overall, would I come back to relive this experience? Try it yourself once your taste bubs
Will ask what we do to deserve this.
Best food on Bayou Bernard. Great staff and amazing Jerk chicken pasta and tacos. We went back twice.
Arrived here at about 5 pm. Was told before being seated that they are out of most menu items. No tacos, burgers, Mac n cheese. Seems like poor management.
Love it
Steak flavor was not it
The food was ok, but it seemed a little overpriced. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and it was not really busy. We did have to wait for our server initially and a few times in between. The view of the bayou was pretty neat.
Great Food waitresses will let you know of Daily specials

We were in a cabana and I think our waitress forgot we were there. Our brunch took over an hour to receive and was cold.
Sad night at flamingo landing very unorganized totally confused staff no leadership food quality was the worst I have ever seen here
Took my wife and kids here for Mother's Day, and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. I ordered the crab, which arrived completely unseasoned-just plain steamed with no flavor at all. I understand it's not a creole-style dish, but there was zero seasoning or taste, which made it pretty underwhelming. For the price and occasion, I expected better. Sadly, I won't be returning.
We went for Mother's day. We knew there would be a wait even with a reservation. Getting the table was quick and easy and the server greeted us promptly. Loved that they had an area for kids. I was a little disappointed, they didn't have more out like they had shown in the photos. There was no connect four, no bean bag toss, just a few blocks. The whole reason I chose this place is because I knew there would be a place for the kids to have a little fun while mommy relaxed to eat. They grew board with it rather quickly, which brings me to my issue. We ordered promptly including a appetizer. 1 hour into waiting I had to ask for our app, it finally camea and while it was good, it did not come with enough bread for the dip. Almost and hour and a half into being there they finally brought us our food minus one kid's meal. We waited another few minutes for the last one. The hamburgers were basic and nothing to write about but were thick. The kids shrimp was also basic and nothing to write about. I got the jerk chicken pasta which was excellent then there was the kid's mac and cheese. This was dollar box mac and cheese and the fries that came with it were so drenched in oil, I could literally squeeze them and oil dripped out of them yuk! I guess we got the bottom of the basket. Love the ambience and my mimosa was delicious but I was a little disappointed, especially for a $120 and 2 hours out of my day..
We wanted to sit by the water, but the patio downstairs by the water was not open. So we sat outside with the Limited two tables that they had. The service took a really really really long time to get our drinks and food. We were there over 2 1/2 hours just for lunch. Thank goodness we were a bunch of ladies enjoy enjoying the afternoon.
