I am extremely disappointed with Flamingo Landing’s lack of communication and professionalism. My party of twelve made a reservation on August 17th for Labor Day weekend and promptly received a confirmation text the same day. On August 29th, I received another message confirming our reservation for August 30th. After replying to confirm, I was assured with the response: “Thanks! You’re confirmed. See you soon.”
However, when my party arrived at Flamingo Landing on Saturday evening, we were met with a “temporarily closed” sign. At no point did I receive an email, text, or phone call notifying us of the closure, and as of today, there has still been no communication or explanation from the establishment.
Because of this failure to inform us, my group was unable to secure another restaurant that could accommodate twelve guests on short notice. As a result, we were not able to dine together or properly celebrate a birthday as planned.
This experience was both frustrating and deeply disappointing.
I only got to visit during winter, thought it was decent; not as good as shaggy‘s or Woodys ,but the views were good… On another note, why does it seem like no restaurants can last around Biloxi or Gulfport? 😓
Not very impressed with this restaurant. It took 25 mns to be seated even though we had a reservation and there were several open tables. Took a long time to get our drinks. The food was ok but I wouldn’t go back. I ordered the huevos rancheros and the tortillas were very hard. We also ordered the shrimp tacos and the pineapple salsa on top looked old. The pepper jack grits were good. That’s about all I can say for the meal.

Bartender sucked so bad I literally could not not say something. He had the attention span of a concussed goldfish and that was the least of his problems. It got to a point where I felt like I was in an SNL skit. The 3 stars are solely for the lovely lady in management (she deserves 5) that tried her best to remedy the situation. I'm just so bewildered at how awful this man was. I didn't want him to get in trouble but just damn. I've worked in food service my whole life and my teenage coworkers would crush him in our worst rush. Do not sit at the bar if you plan on eating as well, this poor fella can absolutely not handle it.

We went on a Saturday with live music. The band was fun and I enjoyed them. The food was good drinks were great. McKenzie (Mackenzie?) was an awesome host and server she was very attentive and met every need we asked. I enjoyed my time here and she made it a very welcoming and hospitable place. Couldn’t have asked for a better server.

It was 96 degrees outside yet one customer wanted a window open so the waitress complied and opened it. After only a few minutes, the inside restaurant was sweltering despite ceiling fans. When we asked our waitress to close the window, both she and the manager said they could not because a customer (who by now had left) had asked to open it. This is unacceptable. A) There are outside tables for those customers who want to melt in the heat and B) The electric bill for running the a.c. with a garage door-sized window wide open will be ridiculous. We were sweating and couldn't wait to get out of there. The food was only meh, and we will not be going back. Management needs to use their common sense by not allowing windows to be opened during extreme heat. Offer the guest an outside table if they desire. Do not make all guests suffer for the whims of one!

Chicken sandwich tasted good but walked away hungry. Definitely not a place to go for the bar vibe. Nice views of the water
So disappointed to say the least! Looked forward to trying this local eatery for over a year we waited just to make sure they worked the kinks out etc! The esthetic is 💯 but prices, portions, wait and service all Suck! 🫣🫤🤯
We literally waited a hour for our food to come out with only 4 other tables filled it took forever! It was a weekday and not during busy hours. The waitress said it was bc there was only one cook. Well I ordered the shrimp poboy plate that comes with fries. Hubby ordered the shrimp tacos. Shouldn't have taken longer than 15 min start to finish for both! We were starving and just about to get up and walk out when our food came out. Hoping it was gonna taste amazing and be worth the wait.. it wasn't. It was mediocre. Dont know if we will be back to try again but if we do it won't be when we are already hungry ready to eat!

7/30/25 First time trying this place out. 10/10 Jordan was our waitress, she was the best & the manager Havin was super nice & came to check on us & all the guest multiple times, most restaurant manager don’t do that. The vibes are great & so was the food. Everything was hot & fresh. Let’s get into the breathtaking view, it’s right on the water, u can even dock your boat & it has outdoor seating right next to the water. The bar is jug, I’m really sure it seats over 25-30 people. We will be back 10/10. Keep up the great customer service & the guest will stay coming.

My wife confirmed that bushwhackers were on the menu, and she ordered one; our server said they couldn't make it. We ordered an appetizer of chips with three dips; our server said they only had one of the three dips and asked if that was ok. Um...no, that's not ok. We ordered loaded nachos instead, and while the flavors were good, the chips were stale. The entrees were all mediocre. Our server did a fine job and was very accommodating, but the food and drinks were disappointing. We won't return.

First time here today! Food was great! Service left much to be desired but thankfully the food will bring us back again one day, when we are over that way. Enjoyed the lunch.

Today was my second time eating here in the last 6 months and I've loved it both times. I'll always come here when I visit my friends on the gulf coast. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos with cajun potatoes. Everything was delicious, staff was very nice and attentive, plus the drinks are great too (the Patrón mango margarita with the tajin rim was really good). I love the very vibrant atmosphere too. I'll be referring my friends to come check this place out asap.
