Well Golden Corral has always been on my list of places I'd like to go for the food at a good price it's what you expect it to be a big buffet and a lot of room. But if I had a choice and one was available I would definitely choose Shoney's but we don't have one in this area

They food was okay but not the best.

It's ok. If you are under 10 or over 55 it's great. Plenty of choices. It's clean enough and the service is basic, which is good enough at buffet, but doesn't make you want to tip any extra either. It's kinda loud, also to be expected. Overall, a great family choice, especially for multigenerational gatherings, or diverse groups who don't enjoy the same foods. No one cares if you have loud kids, or grandparents who take 12 days to get a scoop of...
