Tried to go to trivia. No where on the website or Facebook page did it say you needed reservations. Also they don't mention reservations when you actually call and talk to them about trivia night. Good job.

I was able to take my dad that is 85. He had a nice time but the only thing that was an issue is that they did not have the carts for your bags near the parking deck. It is a long walk for someone that old. It would have made it a lot easier to bring our bags in. Long walks every place you want to go. The places to eat closed early as well. They should have something for aft 11pm seeing they are a 24 hours. The room was nice but the carpet looks kinda old and needs to be replaced. The buffet for dinner was good but it would have been nice to be able to go to the pool. It was closed the last few times I have stayed with them. If the weather is nice it should be open not just by the dates on the calendar. In example Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Always love staying at island view. Great rooms and delicious meals. Recommend this casino to everyone. Enjoy getting away and playing at the view. The employees are very helpful and friendly. They have the most old school slot machines around.

Our go to casino hotel in Mississippi. Fast easy checkin. Hotel has several room options, one with island view that has larger casino and more dinning option. The other option is beach view, with a non smoking casino, and water view dining. Either way, both hotels/casinos are connected by a elevated crosswalk. Casino has plenty of action and promotions for all types of gamblers. A special shout out to Supervisor Mr Lewis, who help us in the buffet, when my wife had a diabetic episode. He and his staff were so professional. Recommend

Stayed a Saturday night at this hotel. The rooms are a nice size and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great for the price. You can't go wrong, especially if you gamble the night before and get comps. to use. The casino was fun, didn't lose much, and played for hours. Would like to see more new slots in non-smoking side.

PRIME CUTS out does itself again. Traveled to the Island View to celebrate my birthday with my wife and another couple. We had an amazing visit to the hotel and it was capped by a superb dinner on Saturday night. I cannot say enough good things about Nick and Oscar and the entire staff. My wife enjoys a pear cosmo and Oscar always has a special bourbon for me. He presented me with a Wellers 117 which was delicious and my wife enjoyed the special Cosmo. Nick presented us with candied bacon and a too die for crab cake topped with shrimp creole. Their special spun salad and the prime ribs were perfect. We watched the sunset while enjoying this special occasion. Kuddos to Nick, Oscar and all the Crew. Go there and be pampered. This one dinner is worth the 8 hour drive. We didn't win the car but we certainly enjoyed our stay.

We only visited the casinos and buffet. This is a pretty big casino and you can take the enclosed walkway over the street to it's sister hotel and casino that is non smoking (Beach View). We got to play around on the penny slots, it did not take our money in five minutes. I like the non smoking casino better - it is not near as big but is out over the water and surrounded by windows instead of walls. My friends liked the smoking casino better because there was a bigger selection of slots. The buffet - it is a smaller seating buffet but had plenty of choices for dinner. I would return to this buffet. The buffet is on the smoking side of the road (Island View).

This review for the Beach View Hotel, across the highway from Island View. Clean well maintained place. No complaints of the room. A steak place and "deli " are located near the elevators. Coffee shop with some sweets near near the gambling area. The machines are really very tight.
First time staying at Island View Casino Resort! We did stay on the beach side however our room did not face the beach! Will definitely book beach view next time! Our room was clean & we were please with this location! Staff was very professional & we will stay here again! The Casino floor on both properties have a huge selection of dated slot machines! I hope there will be a over haul real soon

Hotel and food are awesome. I have been going there every weekend for almost 2 years. The slots are way to tight. Most of the time you can t even play long. Slots take in quickly but give back only crumbs. A bonus should never pay $2 or even $5 That is a slap in the face. It is an Entertaining place not a winning place.

The first person I interacted with was Brea? ( I'm not very good at remembering names)at the guest check in. She was personable and friendly. She did her job to perfection. : My room was very clean, and I own a cleaning business so I'm very particular about this! I had a great time in the smoking casino. Although I smoke, I prefer non -smoking rooms. The waitress on the casino floor was fun and seemed happy to be there. I think her name was Rebecca, once again, in not great at names. I wish I could remember it because she deserves a raise!! I was having lots of fun, some winning, some losing.. but it's a casino so there's that. A person near me was being loud, obnoxious and just rude to anyone in earshot, . When I told the server I would be moving locations due to said person, she delivered my beverage with no problem. I do wish they had breakfast to order a bit earlier, however, it's ok to get a biscuit from the snack shop. I usually drive very early (4AM) . All in all, even though I lost a bit, I had a great time but it was MOSTLY due to the VERY KIND cocktail waitress.

I have been visiting the Island View several times a year for the past 10 years. Although things have changed since the pandemic it is still a great place to stay, dine and play. Their players club (Insider) still offers the best comps and benefits for the low limit players. Some of the menus have been reduced but the food is still great. My room at the Beach Side was clean and comfortable. I am planning on returning soon and I recommend it as a place to go
