Excellent food! I had the fried catfish! Absolutely delicious!! Very nice staff and waiter! Beautiful hotel too! I highly recommend them!
The Gulf Coast has been pretty good for me. It's a great place to retire, and the cost of little is pretty darn good. This is where I need to be.

The place is perfect. Everything is immaculately clean. The owners are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is classy. It is just off the beach. This is one of the best B&B style places we have found on the coast. Would not change a thing. We loved it.
Wednesday night karaoke is something special. I would bring the kids. The gumbo on Wednesday night is some of the best. The live music with Charles Carter is a must-see experience .

Good food friendly staff great atmosphere
The Almanett was my first stop on a solo road trip and I felt so pleasantly welcomed at this beautiful hotel. It is more like a huge home with lovely art and bright well-lit rooms. The decor is calming and comfortable while also absolutely crisp and spotless. I was greeted and shown my room, how to get there and navigate the various public spaces including an outdoor deck and a comfortable common room. My room was a dream — the best thing may have been the windows, or the gorgeous bathroom, or the private little deck, but really it was the feeling of being in comfortable luxury.
The Almanett...The Deal...food, drinks, entertainment...????
The service was excellent and the food was very good. There was not a wide selection of items on the menu but everyone in our party of 7 was very well satisfied. Our host, Beau, is a keeper. She is the kind of person to make everyone feel special from the moment they enter the building.
This is the Central Area that you should Stay in While Visiting!!!! Seems to be the Most Diverse Place!!!!!! The Most Activities.... Not to mention the Beech Surrounding You..... Lots of Parking & Walking Areas... Check out The Almanett, location Bed & Breakfast with a Full Bar Underneath..... Really Cool... All in 1 + Ocean across the street......5 STARS 👍🏽

We stayed a weekend. The place was decorated amazingly. Great artwork. Really would have liked to give 5 stars but 2 big things happened. There was no notice that the room was above the bar. The boom of the base as well as the DJ yelling in microphone was obnoxious. Also the bar balcony was outside our window, kinda creepy. Only lasted till 11 but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Also there are two fireplaces but the one facing the bed wasn’t working. We had planned a romantic weekend and that feature was not working. Also there is no front desk, so finding a concierge was difficult. I really wanted to love the place because it could be a wonderful getaway but I kinda felt like the hotel guest was not a priority.
Husband, friend and I were first time visitors tonight. A beautiful, quaint bistro and very relaxing. We had artichoke/spinach dip for appetizer and it was delicious, especially the chips that come with it. The hamburger was fantastic and the catfish and onion rings were very good. The onion rings and catfish were fried but very light and very flavorful. You MUST try the lemon bar for dessert. SO GOOD! The staff was so nice and the owner was so friendly. We can't wait to go back.
Excellent staff all around. Clean room. We like to stay in locally-owned hotels and this is a good one. We ate in the restaurant at 8 pm and the food was great. Nicely decorated and well-maintained; with a nice beachy patina on the deck from being so close to the water. We’ll be back.
Quiet Lovely and Amazing, People are are all too Friendly
