I'm in town on business from Detroit and had a fantastic meal tonight. I had the appetizer grilled shrimp tacos, a cheeseburger with salt and pepper fries, Mac and cheese and bread pudding. It was all delicious, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive. It's deficiency come back and urge people in the area to come for a meal!

This was a random lunch stop while passing through Mississippi, and they ended up having the best fried catfish I've ever tried. Our server, Forrest, was great as well.

The place is perfect. Everything is immaculately clean. The owners are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is classy. It is just off the beach. This is one of the best B&B style places we have found on the coast. Would not change a thing. We loved it.

Very beautiful hotel and restaurant located minutes from the beach. Food and staff are amazing. The drinks were on point, and the music set the scene for an amazing evening out with friends! An absolute must try when visiting the Mississippi Gulf Coast!

Wednesday night karaoke is something special. I would bring the kids. The gumbo on Wednesday night is some of the best. The live music with Charles Carter is a must-see experience .

Another family dinner during our New Year's vacay in Gulfport. Different dishes among the 9 folks at the table. Everyone was happy with their apps and main dishes. It was okay, but I would not return here unless again accompanying the elderly family members that like this place. Not a whole lot of flavors, just ok.

The Almanett was my first stop on a solo road trip and I felt so pleasantly welcomed at this beautiful hotel. It is more like a huge home with lovely art and bright well-lit rooms. The decor is calming and comfortable while also absolutely crisp and spotless. I was greeted and shown my room, how to get there and navigate the various public spaces including an outdoor deck and a comfortable common room. My room was a dream — the best thing may have been the windows, or the gorgeous bathroom, or the private little deck, but really it was the feeling of being in comfortable luxury.

Excellent food! Being from New Orleans it's not always easy to find a place that knows Southern cooking. Their catfish is dangerously good! Always enjoy the jambalaya. Chef knows how to season food. Outdoor backyard patio is very cool especially when there's live music.

The service was excellent and the food was very good. There was not a wide selection of items on the menu but everyone in our party of 7 was very well satisfied. Our host, Beau, is a keeper. She is the kind of person to make everyone feel special from the moment they enter the building.
