My family decided to eat at Halfshell Oyster House. It was busy but we got seated right away. Jill was our server and she was amazing. She was full of smiles. We were ordering our appetizers and put in the order for our 4 year old when he says, "I want fried pickles!" I had already looked on the menu and they didn't have the option. So I told him that. He was a little fussy but it was OK. Jill left to get our first orders in. Within several min what I can only assume the the manager came by with his hands behind his back and said to the affect, he was notified of an issue that something was needed that they didn't have. He pulled from behind him the plate of specially made for our son Fried Pickles! My boys face lit up and we were so excitedly pleased. The waitress passed on that their was a request for fried pickles. They didn't have to do that at all. They went above and beyond. The other food was amazing as well. It was honestly a breath of fresh air in today's world. This will be out spot from now on. Thank you Jill and management. ❤️

We sat at the bar for drinks and appetizers. Both Gabby and Victoria served us. Food and drinks were great. They were very friendly and attentive as well as very busy. I would go back just to sit at the bar with these two ladies.

Good food but the service was lacking. The waiter didn't write our order down, and surprise, he forgot our appetizer. He checked on us during our first bite and didn't come back until we were almost done. Drinks went empty and stayed empty. We'll come back for the food but hopefully the service improves.

Almost all of the seafood is imported. There was no bread served with the entree. I had the fried shrimp and okra as the side. The foods presentation was minimal. My server was excellent and very friendly, and the atmosphere is beautiful. But then the food quality was not as expected.

I'm general we very much enjoyed our meal. The service was great and food arrived quickly. We had the Oyster Sampler which was awesome. My wife loved her seafood stuffed portabellas and we were both impressed with the serving. I had a bowl of gumbo and while I enjoyed the flavor, I thought the ingredients were skimpy. I got maybe two small slices of sausage and 6 tiny shrimp. Overall it was a good meal.
