I always go to halfshell when I come to Mississippi. Everything was really great. Crab cakes were a little burnt tasting but thats off for them because normally they are spot on. Ive never had a bad meal here.

Phenomenal place. Find was top quality with superb service. Ordered the ribeye and tried the oyster sampler, and royal reds. My steak came out cooked to perfection at the exaxt temp I requested. The ribeye is a 13oz but packed full of buttery Cajun flavor. Very filling and delicious. Fusion martinis were perfect. You can definitely tell they were made with real fruit from scratch. First time in Gulf Port, MS and will definitely be back.

Wow! Just wow. Every bite and sip was absolutely delicious! We sat at the bar, served by Ray, and he knows his stuff! The drink he rx'd for me was so perfect and tasty! He heard me mention Ginger Beer and rx'd the Cucumber Ginger Breeze. Fantastic! I lost my mind over the Shrimp and Grits, and highly rx them! Great food. Great service! We will be back!

All I can say is WOW.If you are in the area then this place is a must.I ordered The oyster sampler, they are all great but my favorite was the oyster Orleans. My wife had the grilled cobia. It was fantastic. The fried green tomatoes & crab cakes was excellent.Great atmosphere & our waitress Taylor was amazing.
Phenomenal experience! Best ribeye and cheese grits we’ve ever had! Our drinks, oysters, and food were amazing. Our server was top notch as well! Definitely, our new spot when we come to the area!

Half Shell Oyster House has gone above and beyond any expectation that I could ever hold for a restaurant. The oysters are delicious! My personal favorite are the Oyster Orleans. My group ordered the old fashioned and they truly were perfected. The service was fantastic and the restaurant had an incredible and lively atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my closest friends and family.
