I requested that the bill be split, with half paid in cash and the remaining balance charged to my credit card. However, the server charged me the full price of the bill, in addition to an additional amount exceeding $60. This implies that the server retained my cash for a tip, despite the fact that gratuity was already owed.

Excellent choice of restaurant today. I started with the miso soup and it was warm and had an excellent umami flavor. There was plenty of seaweed, green onions and tofu. No skimping here.
The vegetarian roll was rolled too loosely and fell apart. It was good but honestly I was not a fan.
The fried tofu was huge and amazing. It was the star of the show.

Came for my birthday lunch. I was pleasantly surprised! Lunch Sushi combo was great, chicken tempura bento box was a great deal. We will definitely be back, and may add this to our dining out rotation. On the coast for 10 years and never been here before. I think we've found our new sushi place!

Buyer beware, they charged my credit card over $14,000.00 in what was explained to me as a “tip out incident”. When I called and talked to one of their staff he made it sound like this is just “something that happens sometimes” and told me sometimes during tip outs they’ll accidentally double or triple the charge, I’m not sure how you double or triple $36 and get $14k. Always had good service & good food here. Not today! We went in for lunch. There was another lady & her daughter seated at the table with us. We ordered extra vegetables & extra rice. Needless to say, I got maybe 3/4 cup of rice & the vegetables consisted of 5 pieces of broccoli & 5 slivers of onions. That's it! I was told this was the "lunch portion" when I questioned it. Yet, the 8-10 year old child seated at the table had at least 2-3 cups of rice on her plate & a whole serving spoon full of vegetables. The lady split her lunch portion & was taking the rest to go. When they fixed her plate to go, yes, she had huge portions of food in her takeout box. I politely asked the lady if she had ordered extra rice & vegetables, to which she responded, "no". Well, I was too mad to eat, paid for the food & left. I then went to Ulta to buy some products I needed. As I was checking out the sweet girl at the register asked if I was having a good day. I told her, "No, I thought we were going to have a pleasant lunch only to get taken advantage of". The lady in-line behind me stated, "Oh, we don't go there anymore because if you order extra vegetables or rice, you actually end up getting a smaller portion than they usually serve, or they give the extra portions to others at the table. Won't be back anytime soon & will be sure to tell numerous people I know about the experience.
