I went here for catfish and the food was delicious and the service was great as well. I hate that we’re out of oysters, but I’ll try those next time. The tartar sauce was also delicious and was made in house.

Service is slow. Ask about food before you order. Skip the red beans and rice w/fried catfish-red beans were barely warm and no flavor, 1 very small piece of catfish, salad was pitiful(1 cucumber and tomato, 2 spinach leaves, and lettuce).

Discovering a hidden gem that excels in local specialties is always a treat. The fried shrimp were freshly prepared, and the gumbo was delightful, with just the right amount of spice. The homemade Key Lime pie struck the perfect balance between sweetness and tartness.

What truly made our experience memorable was our waitress, Kelli. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home and added a special touch to our visit.

The food is always good and service is always good, no problems there. But I ordered the Mahi tacos my last go round and for the almost $15 you get a 6ish inch maybe 4 to 6oz fillet split between 2 rinky dink flour tortillas with MAYBE a small spoonful of cabbage and I think comeback sauce on each taco AND NO SIDE. I'm in the fishing industry I know how much those fish cost. This menu item in particular is way over priced for the quantity and quality of food you get especially without a side. Every Mahi taco I've ever had was a whole 8 to 10oz fillet on a BED of cabbage and pico de Gallo with a comeback sauce on a single tortilla browned on each side after it's assembled for the finish with a side of limes and a side. That's my only problem in this establishment. I've been coming here since I can remember I ate my 1st raw oyster here in 1984 at 4yrs old. I love this place so don't take this too negative.

The only place in the area that offers a shrimp and fried green tomato po boy. So good!! The remoulade is perfect, tart/tangy, light consistency that wasn’t heavy or overwhelming. Didn’t think steak cut fries would go well but it did! They take credit card, and offer 3.5% discount with cash. Service was stellar, I’m always a bit conscious of this as I’m new to the area and haven’t always had the most pleasant or welcoming experiences but I’d totally recommend this place to both visitors and locals.

A pleasant surprise after an accidental discovery. We where looking for sea food in the area. We stopped by another sea food place in the area but it wasn't down in. Decided to drive back the way we came
Stopped in the parking lot to look for a different place on Google. We where not finding anything then we
Noticed the lil rays sign. Decided to give it a try.
The staff was awesome and service was timely. It also had a nice sea food dinner atmosphere.

We will be coming back from Mobile from time to time to visit this not so hidden "hidden gem."

The food was great. Service was great. However, the sign about service dogs, displayed for all to see, is breaking ADA law. You cannot deny a service animal basic needs, such as food and water, while in the restaurant with their handler. This is a shame because I really did like your restaurant and do not wish to see it fined and shut down.
I can read just fine. I have 2 Masters degrees, one of which covers service dog law. The sign read that service dogs must be kept under the table and not fed or watered in sight of customers. SO unless you've changed it since my visit or since this review, that is not legal. I'm doing you a favor here.
