Here on vacation and stopped in for dinner. Staff was really friendly and food was great. Try the queso, their ground beef and the cheesecake chimichanga!! Delicious!

I like this place:) tastes good but my husband wasn't a big fan. Then again he is from California and the mexican food there maybe a little different.

Went out to lunch with my gorgeous wife and being that she loves Mexican food, I told her to check this place out. Now, I don't really care for Mexican, but there have been a few places I've been to where I've wanted to go back and this is definitely one of those places. First off, the mini-pitcher for regular drinks is AWESOME! I had horchata and couldn't finish the whole drink. My beautiful wife only drank about 10% of her lemonade and she was full. The atmosphere inside is totally different than what it looks like outside. Very clean and service was fast, there weren't a lot of people there though. Salsa and chips were served fast and this was the best I've ever had in a Mexican restaurant. The chips were warm and the salsa had a good kick to them. Our meals were also good as I had the Lunch Chimichurri with grilled steak and my lovely wife had the Quesdilla with grilled steak too. They both came with the regular rice and beans, salad and sour cream. The food did not taste as if it was sitting out for a while and it all tasted real good. We decided we'd be back again as she was eyeing the Margaritas! The price wasn't bad as lunch for two came out to be $24...not bad and the food wasn't either. We'll be back soon!

The service was great. The Resturant was clean and the hot food was good. We went on a Monday night -drinks are 2 for 1. The only thing we didn't like was the fried ice cream. But overall a very good experience.

These guys changed their name to something else, but they're still in the same spot, serve the same food, and I'm pretty sure even have all the same staff, so I'm not sure what's up. Not the best Mexican prices or food on the coast, but it's close to my apartment so it's a fair trade. They certainly make some mean margaritas.

Fun Mexican restaurant I was met with a smile and seated promptly. The bathrooms were very clean a good indicator that it's clean food and it's going to be good. The food was very Good and I'm pleased to say I definitely will be back to this restaurant when I'm in the Gulfport area the service was great and the sweet tea was awesome. If you're in the Gulfport area and craving Mexican food this is the place to go for sure.

Me and my husband are from New Orleans, LA and I was craving Mexican food. This was some of the best Mexican food we have had. Service was great, the lunch fajitas were enough for two people to share. The free chips and salsa were also really good. Drinks came in a mini pitcher so no waiting on refills. My husband ordered the chicken tacos and I had the steak fajitas. Don't let the outside fool you. This is a hidden treasure. Lunch was under $20.00 for two and we still had food left over. Our waitress was sweet.

They're chicken chimichangas are to die for! If you ever get a chance to grab a bite to eat you should definitely order it.

Lupita's was a pleasant surprise! It isn't much to look at from the outside, and it wasn't very busy when we went in, even though it was 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated and served the usual chips and salsa. The chips were warm and the salsa was very good, served in a little carafe. We both ordered waters and they arrived... in mini-pitchers. Apparently this is standard. Weird. The menu made me nervous. Lots of misspellings, and there wasn't a lot of variety to it. This could go one of two ways - spectacularly, or a major crash and burn. Thankfully it was the former - my enchiladas were super yummy, my husband's fajitas looked great, and their guacamole was totally on point. (Seriously, order the guac. The "small" was anything but and it was obviously fresh and homemade. Heaven!) This was the first decent Mexican food I've had in over a month, since we've moved. I was getting desperate. Lupita's is both a blessing and a curse, because it isn't exactly close to where we live... It's definitely worth the drive though. Viva Lupita's!
