Had a horrible experience there this pass Sunday around 5pm. This was my family's favorite restaurant till yesterday. Only had 1 chef as others didn't show up per a waitress. Every dish we ordered was way over cooked or prepared wrong. We sent food back to kitchen as couldn't be eaten so bad. Been there many times and loved it. The manager /Bar tender was so rude and insisted on charging us for what was sent back to kitchen. Very rude no extremely rude individual to be a manager. Well after the manager made a horrible scene at the bar, she credited the meals which we never ate and made herself look like a typical woke individual, we left to never return there again. Lost loyal customers for forever. Had plans to bring my friends coming to Cruising the Coast but all of us will go elsewhere. Owner needs to replace this woke unprofessional so say manager. Costing him money and future customers. Just can't say enough how bad the experience was.

Our first time coming from vancleave to try it out and we knew the chef very well… he was made aware we were there and never gave us an hand wave. The crab dip was ok, corn and crab chowder is disgudting. The meal that saved this visit was my chicken Alfredo. I had a few bites my kids tore it up! We won’t be driving out of our way to dine here again as we weren’t impressed by the food and the fact the chef didn’t say quickly is absurd. The restaurant was very slow and I have some thoughts on why, too!

I really don't like to give bad ratings but we didn't have a good experience. It was Saturday night. Only @ 5 tables had people at them. Service was poor but I can excuse that to it may be someone new at the job. They was out of crab dip so we got artichoke dip, no big deal. Then we order and they was out of chicken parmesan, kinda weird for a Italian restaurant, but ok. We ordered our entrees and waited and waited. It was over a hour since we ordered. We asked if there was a problem and they said it was coming up. We waiting. One hour and 15 minutes later we had our entrees just to be disappointed in both of them. For a advertising Italian restaurant it left so much to be desired. Greasy, not much flavor of anything. We ate a couple bites, paid the bill and left. What can ya do but scratch it off our list. It's a nice looking restaurant inside but that's about it.

We had a group of 5 and when they brought out the food, 3 of 5 were cold. When asked, the waitress said they always bring out everything together., and next time put in a special request to have our food brought out when it was ready. I didn't know we had to put in a special request to have our food delivered hot.

Excellent food and service. It has become one of my favorite restaurants when I'm in the area. I'm sad I only get to eat there a couple times a year when I'm visiting family.
Don't be fooled! If you've never eaten veal, don't get your hopes up; it's very unpleasant, and the lemon sauce is extremely sour. I don't recommend it.

we had a GREAT Italian meal with AMAZING tiramisu!!! they were a little short staffed on a slow Saturday night, but after i inquired the girl behind the bar STEPPED UP & took care of us. the food was as AUTHENTIC Italian as ur gonna get in GPT!! Once i met Brandon, GM, things went quite smoothly and the now have Meomi in the wine refer instead of out on the shelf!! I waited a long time to go try the place & had been discouraged by others, but other than a few service & atmosphere kinks, i think they now mostly have things worked out. i plan to return & sip cellar temp Meomi at their BIG BAR & eat those big AMAZING mozzarella sticks with plenty of the house marinara made by someone’s Italian grandmother from the Old World!!! definitely UNDER RATED by most!!!
