Having been to the Biloxi / Gulfport area many times before we were searching out someplace that was new and found Mangiamo. The menu looked good and inviting, especially after a long morning of horrible storms. When we first arrived, we weren't sure they were open but saw the lights on and decided to go in. We were greeted warmly by Chef Aaron along with the very comfortable and inviting environment. Due to the storm, we were the first guests of the day and settled at the lovely bar.We ordered some beautiful martinis from Chef Aaron and perused the menu, which has about everything you would want in an Italian restaurant at very reasonable prices. One of the owners, James, came in shortly and we had a very enjoyable conversation with him and Aaron. Our appetizer choice was Beef Carpaccio, which was sliced perfectly thin and dressed with a lovely salad. It was tender and delicious. We shared an entree of Veal Picatta with a side of Angel Hair Pasta. The veal was a nice portion and perfectly done. It was very tender and the picatta sauce had just the right amount of lemon and capers. Reasonably priced at $20.Lingering over a glass of wine we decided to try the Cannoli. The presentation was beautiful with 2 Cannoli on the plate. The outside was nicely crisp and the cream was delicious and not overly sweet at all, with just a hint of orange flavor. What a great addition this restaurant is to the area; classic Italian that feels upscale without the upscale beach prices. Thank you James and Chef Aaron for a wonderful lunch - we will be back before we leave town!Parking: Located in a shopping center with plenty of parking.

My husband and I ate here this evening for the fifth or sixth time since they opened, and had the same great experience. The beef carpaccio and Calamari are our go-to apps, and we’ve tried a variety of the menu items, all of which have been excellent. My husband tried the Ribeye this time around, and it beat out more than a few of the “steakhouses” we’ve tried in the area. The bolognese is *actually* bolognese, and their breading for the veal and chicken parm dishes is phenomenal. Such a gem to find authentic Italian right in our neighborhood among a sea of Olive Gardens and fried seafood :) the atmosphere is lovely, the staff is friendly - an easy addition to our list of favorite spots.

Went for lunch and waited forever for food despite there only being one other table in the entire restaurant. Food came cold and horrible! The manager didn't even bother to talk to us when we sent the food back.

The food was great. Some of the best Italian we've had, and we both travel for work and eat all over. The proces are reasonable, as well. The chef took a few minutes to talk to us when we asked to speak with him. He was kind and informative, and when we mentioned that our son has a dairy allergy, he offered to accommodate whenever we bring him in. That's something we can find in very few places locally. We are incredibly thankful and impressed!

My wife and I were in a few weeks ago, and had a great meal (pizza) so we had ordered take out the following week. The take home pizza and salad were disappointing. The owner, Matthew Mangiamo reached out to us and apologized, and wanted to make things right by replacing the order. Today, we took him up on his invitation and enjoyed a fantastic meal. Chef Aaron and Mandy were professional, courteous and very attentive. The pizza was fabulous and the salad was perfect. The focaccia bread is delicious. We are very happy that our take home experience was not the norm. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items. Thank you so much for taking care of us.

Absolutely disgusting. Just picked up my to go, and the bruschetta was a soggy mess. tip, put the dressing on the side no flavor to the Bolognese, the lasagna, as hard as a rock and the chicken dish might as well have been from a freezer from Walmart, don’t waste your money.

It was our 1st time here & I really wanted to love this place, because of the reviews. However, our foods missed the marks completely. I’m a big fan of pasta carbonara & have tried many at some amazing Italian restaurants but this one completely missed all points flavor wise. My dish was very bland and had no flavor. Carbonara supposed to be mixed in a creamy egg sauce, but mine was just a bowl of pasta with scrambled eggs. The egg sauce did not get mix in right; too much heat caused eggs to scrambled. The technically of the dish ruined it for me. Whoever made it probably never made any carbonaras in their life. My spouse had chicken Parmesan with pasta in tomatoe cream basil sauce and it was as well very bland and no flavor. We were there on Sunday around 2, wasn’t crowded but had to wait a while for our foods. The waitress was nice and informed us they are a bit short staffed and she answered all of our questions. The atmosphere was beautiful.

Tonight we dined at Mangiamo for a birthday dinner, and it was a five-star experience! This was my first and definitely not last time experiencing this place. The pasta was exceptional, bursting with authentic Italian flavors. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff making the evening memorable. The cozy and inviting environment added to the overall charm. Mangiamo truly delivers an outstanding culinary and dining experience. Highly recommended!
