It’s a big place for coffee and teas . They also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The waitress is super friendly. Thank you Layla’s❤️

Recently I purchased a WLOX Gulf Coast Weekend deal for Layla's cafe. ($10 for $20) So about 3 weeks ago my husband and I stopped by. My husband ordered a bowl of chili. He was very disappointed with the chili. It was like vegetable soup. Thin like water. I showed the server and asked her to let the kitchen know. I told her we didn't want anything done to the bill. However they took it off anyway. My muffuletta was tasty. Small but there was a good amount of meat on it and the bread was very good. I also got a cup of the black bean soup. It was delicious! I only wish the chili would have been thick like the black bean soup! Fast forward three weeks. I had another deal that expired today. So we figured let's order something to go. So my husband ordered the Phillyish sandwich with coleslaw and I got the muffuletta again with pasta salad. I hate when you really like something and you order it again and it's different. Today the muffuletta had half the meat on it as the first time. And the pasta salad was outstanding!! However, the "Phillyish" sandwich was very disappointing. I'm including a picture of half the sandwich. I think that says it all. The amount of meat on the sandwich was pitiful and I can't figure out what that orange'ish color is???? Barely a sight of cheese. Oh well.

I've tried several sandwiches and drinks from Layla's. The sandwiches tend to be rather bland, and I don't find the coffee strong enough. However, the pastries are excellent. The service leaves a lot to be desired. A few weeks ago, they forgot my friend's grilled cheese sandwich, but they brought everyone else's food to the table. Today, I waited 15 minutes for a to-go order that was placed 25 minutes before I got to the restaurant. The cashier and servers seemed to avoid eye contact with me instead of owning up to whatever mistake was made regarding my delayed order. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the long wait for my order until I brought it to the cashier's attention.

Baristas here, make very flat latte's. They don't stretch the milk properly when steaming. If you're looking for a good espresso drink, you won't get it here. On the good side, they have great pastries. Probably the best in Gulfport. So far that reason, check them out.

I absolutely adored this place. To be clear this can be a coffee stop or it can be a breakfast coffee joint with a whole vibe. Don’t expect it to be a fast visit, dine in, relax and enjoy the slower pace. It was 100 some degree and we got blended iced drinks with alternative milk options due to limiting my dairy intake. And my singular complaint was they still put whip on it, though maybe it’s a southern thing to just not put that together as having dairy- I don’t know. Either way this was easily fixed. I ordered a turkey, egg, cheese sandwich on a croissant. The sandwich was literally huge and the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a long time. They grilled the turkey before putting it on the sandwich. I also ordered grits because i love grits in the south and they were okay. Nothing to rave over but decent nonetheless. We loved this place so much we visited again a few days later. And it is super affordable too which who doesn’t love?!

We had a great experience trying this coffee Cafe. The blended Blondie and hot gooey cinnamon roll are a must. We both got the French toast breakfast. Friendly fast service and all around great food and coffee.

Highly recommend this place. So happy I stumbled upon it. Every meal I've had here has been fantastic. All of the servers are knowledgeable, personable and always go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience. I would know. I've been here everyday since I found it. Lol. They also have quite the variety on their menu. My favorite part about Layla's is the coffee bar. Can't wait to come back when I'm in town! Thanks for the great experience :)

Our server was very friendly. The salads were a decent size and not like some of these places that give you one piece of lettuce, name it something French, and think you'll be satisfied paying $20 for it. Both salads we had were excellent. Good coffee. Good experience. Recommended.

My partner and I tried out this lovely little spot based upon the positive reviews. It is a quaint place but ultimately we were left underwhelmed. The coffee selection was good but only if you like the highly sweet and flavored drinks valued by the Starbucks crowd. If you want any traditional espresso drinks like a proper macchiato or cortado you will get blank stares. Which is fine, though slightly disappointing. We ordered the portabello panini and the shrimp roll on a brioche bun. Both were fine, albeit rather bland. The word ‘serviceable’ kept coming to mind while we were eating. While neither of us left hungry, we won’t be racing back to try any of the other food items anytime soon. We didn’t try any of their pastries or cakes, but the elderly crowd around us seemed to enjoy them.

If you’re looking for a simple place to relax and eat, Layla’s is where it’s at. They have the best coffee available (huge fan of their frosts especially during the hot summer time). I strongly recommend checking out the menu, Layla’s has a variety to choose from! The place’s atmosphere is super comfortable and spacious. The staff is friendly and willing to make your stay hospitable and enjoyable.I could not ask for more because everything that I needed was provided. Well done, Layla’s Staff!! Keep making great coffee and food!

Deceptively awesome because the size and glory of the inside is much more than you'd expect from the non-descript front of the store. Thought it would be a humble little coffee dive. I was VERY wrong. Great place with a ton of space and a big honking menu and multiple cabinets full of epic concoctions. Staff was lit with atomic smiles and friendly suggestions on what to order. They didn't warn me that "large" was HUGE and I'd almost need two hands to hoist the drink. Snagged a couple of slices of cake from the display and thoroughly enjoyed everything for several days. (Slices were HUUUGE!) My pics don't do any justice to how big the space is. You could definitely host parties here and have a band and film a rap video. It borders on cavernous. One could get lost after a couple of adult beverages.Great shop and definitely raising the bar for other restaurants on the Gulf Coast. They're gonna get more of MY business moving forward. AROO!

If you're looking for an industrial bistro style atmosphere for lunch, this is it. Lots of delicious sandwich and panini options that are great and perfectly sized for having for oneself or splitting with another. I ordered the muffaletta and split it with my spouse, along with a cup of the Soup of the Day being a white chicken chili. The selection of cafe beverages has something for everyone. I'm definitely a fan of the white chocolate mocha. Lastly, save room for dessert! The tiramisu was fantastic and rounded out the lunch fabulously.Jasmine was our excellent server. She was very welcoming and attentive, helping us navigate the menu and answering all of our questions.

We went there this morning after dropping off our child at school. We’ve heard so many great reviews about this place. We were looking forward having some of their pastries as listed on their Instagram. Well we got there earlier before the crowd came in. Their selection of pastries were limited to about five items. We shrugged it off and decided to enjoy some breakfast there. My wife ordered the French toast breakfast and I ordered the grits and eggs. I also ordered a chi tea coffee. This was delicious. A different server came out to us with our breakfast and no silverware on the table. So we had to wait a few minutes for her to return with them. Well the food was bland. My wife asked for sugar and the lady pointed to the alternative sweeteners on the table. Okay no problem there because she brought some to her. Did I mention that the food was bland? Everything was bland! You cannot even compare it to the worst Waffle House. BTW Waffle House can do it a lot better and for a better price. Yes, I did leave a tip. My wife was disappointed and so was I. Got to admit that this place was very nice and the staff was friendly! Because of the no silverware was presented whenever we sat down , the lack of pastries and the blandness of the food. I have to give it two stars. Three stars would be wrong for me to exaggerate and one star would be rude from me to wrongly slam them. For anyone who goes there for the coffee and tea , you will not be disappointed.
