Expensive. The lighting in the room was installed incorrectly, even the caretaker couldn't fix it, the lamps on the bed only worked when the large main light on the ceiling was on. There was mixed lighting between uncomfortable cold white and pleasant warm white, you should make sure to only install comfortable light bulbs in the room. Otherwise the rooms were nice, although the air in the room was unpleasantly stale and the windows couldn't be opened. Air conditioning was pleasantly quiet.

Great for families, no casino resort only with outdoor water park.

Expensive for what we got, in my opinion. Our room was not cleaned while we were at the hotel, nor was the water replaced. The room smelled both musty and like someone had smoked in it before, though the hotel seems recently renovated. The bathroom amenities felt very basic for the price we were paying ($611 total for 2 nights for a room with 2 queen beds): just a bar of soap for your hands plus whatever was in the shower. No glasses for your toothbrush, no Q-tips or cotton balls. Also no place to hang hand towels, so all the towels that didn't fit on the small rack were piled on the counter. The room climate control was extremely cold (and only a thin knit blanket on the bed, no duvet), so we turned the thermostat up, but then the air became (and stayed) very very damp. Like, the sheets on the bed felt wet when we went to sleep. On the plus side, my kids did enjoy the waterpark, which seemed clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated having a fridge in the room and coffee maker with decent French roast (PJ's).

This is our 2nd yr coming here We plan on making it a yearly thing. We are from Lafayette Louisiana, so it's not that far of a drive, which makes it even better. The staff is kind and helpful, and the rooms are very clean

Rooms: CLEAN and spacious

Nearby activities: Beach is across the street. Walking distance

Food and drinks: Affordable price for food and drinks

The best part of the resort was the check-in! They don't let you bring outside drinks to the pool, and all they serve is frozen drinks Monday through Thursday. No one in our group drinks frozen drinks. The food and serve at the Oasis Grill was bad. The wife and our group ordered meals to dine in and a pizza to go. The pizza came out before the dine in food. The food came so spread out that the person that got his food first was finished eating before the other even recieved their's. The bed was so uncomfortable that we left a day early. There is a refrigerator in the room, but no microwave.

Nice place to spend with family at the small water park with lazy river, slides and playground. It would be nice to have more food options at the pool. The restaurant is at another building and there is only an ice cream shop at the pool with snacks, drinks and pizza.

Completely disappointed in our stay here… I had heard so many good things about this place and it didn’t hold up to expectations. The drinks and food were terrible and overpriced…they obviously don’t add water regularly to the pool and river to cool it down because it was like bath water and miserable. We’ve stayed many places in August and September and the pools are usually kept at a nicer temperature. The room was very small and the noise in the hallway was pretty disturbing. Overall disappointed and we really wanted to love this place because it’s so close to us.

My wife and I stayed at Oasis from August 23rd to 26th. We could not had asked a better weekend. The weather was perfect. It gave us the perfect opportunity to enjoy the Water Park and we were able to enjoy the beach in the morning. Gulfport has done a wonderful job of keeping the beach clean. The white sand was pleasantly refreshing.
The pool and the Lazy River in the evening made our day all the better. Waterside took me back to my childhood..
I don’t want to forget how the Service Deck to the Room services were just awesome.
We decided to eat at Oasis Grill. Our food was delicious. The pizza was incredible. My wife tried the Caesar salad. I went with Cheeseburger and Fries. And for dessert, we went with the Apple Pie and Vanilla Ice Cream…

Rooms: We had a room in building 6, Room 6108 was very nice. We had the King Size Bed. The room is very spacious with 4 large windows. A cute chair. Small kitchen table with a chair.
The Bathroom is large with a walk-in shower.

Nearby activities: The Mississippi Aquarium is a great place to visit. Well worth the cost. Nice for kids and adults. Jones Park is a nice place to walk around, Biloxi Lighthouse.

Safety: Oasis gives bracelet to enter the pool. No person can cross the gate what so ever. There were plenty of Lifeguards throughout the pool area’s.
As for our room. I felt safe in our room. We noticed security driving around the campus on golf carts.

Food and drinks: The restaurant on the campus is Oasis Grill. The food was surprisingly delicious. We with the stop. The ladies working on the floor were very professional. The Chef was great in making our food. I highly recommend the pizza and Cheeseburger. The Apple Pie was amazing with the Vanilla Ice Cream.

We were lied to on the phone that we were on the beach side view. We view a dirty train track in the back of hotel. Yes there are hidden fees . We paid 470.00 for two nights in advance. Then to get our keys I waited in line for close to 30 minutes. Then to get my keys to the door I had to pay a SURPRISE 20.00 fee to park our car, pool and WiFi. We would never use the wifi anyway. You will park 100 yards away from your door. The pool is a nice pool ,but they give you wrist bands that are not reusable that you break off or cut to remove. I refuse the slow office service so I went to the dollar tree to buy clear tape to reuse bands . I heard Margaritaville is down the road. Looks like our business is going down the road also, in the future. I am a business man in Baton Rouge and couldn't be more honest about our experience at Oasis. Good Luck to You Folks , I have a great attitude, but just disappointed.

After pumping my kids up for this trip all week, we were very excited to arrive. We were only staying one night, so we planned to stay at the park all afternoon/evening and then go back a couple hours the next morning before heading home. We got there around 3:30 (with check-in at 4), and went straight to the park. My husband went to order a beer at the swim-up bar, and the bartender suggested he get a bucket instead, as it would keep the drinks cold. He said great, paid for it, and then the bartender informed him that he was actually out of buckets, so instead he would just give him 2 beers now and 2 beers later, and would write down his name. This completely defeated the purpose of ordering the bucket, but my husband had already paid for it so he just took the offer.
30 minutes later (around 4pm), the park was closed due to lightening - which was fine, it happens. We did not have anything else to do with our young, overly excited and hyped up kids, but we figured the park would open back up soon as it is summer time and these short thunder storms happen all the time. It had stopped raining by 5 and the park still hadn't opened, so we went to get an early dinner at the cafe. The food was very mediocre and the service was poor (being severely understaffed), but it killed an hour at least.
By 6 pm, the skies were clear and we figured the park would surely open back up (the attached picture was taken at 6pm). There was a crowd waiting outside the gates at this point; however, there was no one from the resort anywhere to be found. No updates. I went to the front desk to ask why the park still hadn't opened, and they said there was lightening detected within a TEN mile radius, so the park couldn't open. I asked if we could possibly get a late check-out the next day, but they don't do that (we were welcome to stay longer than our 11am checkout, but it is difficult to get a family of 5 changed out of our bathing suits in a small public bathrom).
To our dismay, the park never opened back up that day. Our entire trip was based on going to the waterpark, and we ended up sitting in our hotel room just waiting around. My 6 year old dubbed it "the worst day of his life".
I understand the park cannot control the weather, but surely they can use some common sense and open the park back up when most people are only there for a day or two and the skies were mostly clear. There are small thunderstorms nearly every day during the summer; do they really close the park for hours for such small storms?!
The next day we figured we would get an early breakfast and then try to get to the park early so we would at least have a few hours there, but the service at breakfast in the morning was just as bad as in the evening (again being severely understaffed), so breakfast wasn't too quick. Also, the park didn't open until 9am, so we waited around agaiin for park to open.

The kids had fun for the few hours we were there on the second day, but overall we were extremely disappointed. We were so exicted to come here, but I don't know if we will be returning. We also of course never got the other 2 beers from the "bucket" we ordered, as the bar didn't open until noon the next day (when we were leaving), so that was even more money that we threw down the drain.

I hope in the future they can have someone on-site to make some better judgement calls with the weather.

We loved EVERYTHING about the Oasis except the difficulty of reaching the front desk. We were unable to get into our room upon arrival due to faulty keys, and it took around 20 minutes to reach someone to let us in. When we needed something, I had to call over 7 times between morning and lunch to reach someone.

Food and drinks: Great food and drinks on site! Fairly priced especially for hotel food/drinks.

Noteworthy details: The kids and I loved the water park and beach access! Overall a great place to stay, and we will go back.

I will.not tally up 5 stars. because front desk. staff have screwed up badly. and have been very rude. sense day one. infact if you have a issue your going to lose your parking spot because they won't answer the desk phone you got to drive to the office each time ac issues. the entire stay BAR CLOSED. until Monday. they kept closing the bar nobody knows why they closed the bar can't use any thing we paid to enjoy

water level in pool lower then last year. music is not upbeat. in the pool area infact depressing or tiring ? staff forgot towls. an blankets day one. from. 12pm to. 11:30 pm. lack of communication from the front desk to the cleaning staff so it was not the cleaning staffs fault.

Mrs Daniella did everything in her power to help our family infact she has been amazing an outstanding. we absolutely adore that lady she has tried very hard to help anyway possible when we have an issue so thank you Mrs Daniella 5stars to this amazing lady

LAST YEAR was great this year is garbage

honestly don't recommend anyone paying $800 to stay here. this is ridiculous what we all have had to deal with here

over charged. on resort fees $20 a day on top of everything else ? no other resort charges the resort fees daily

Not as great as it has been the past few years. Don't like the fact that you have to go to the club house for service. The wine bar is closed at the centinental. The pool bar was closed on a Sunday so we had to go in and out the snack bar for everything. Not worth the money it use to be unfortunately.

Food and drinks: Frozen drinks are pricey. $12 for a Pina colada in a small cup.
